Xavier at Georgetown 11:00 AM ET
No. 17 Xavier produced one of its best performances of the season to open Big East play and hopes to ride the momentum of a four-game winning streak when it visits Georgetown on Saturday. Junior guard Trevon Bluiett poured in a game-high 22 points in an 82-56 rout of Providence at home on Wednesday as the Musketeers shot 60.4 percent from the field.
North Carolina at Georgia Tech 12:00 PM ET
North Carolina used its first 14 games to prepare for the start of its ACC schedule, which the 10th-ranked team in the nation begins with a trip to Georgia Tech on Saturday. And while the Tar Heels won 12 times – losing only to Indiana and Kentucky – there still is room for improvement in the eyes of coach Roy Williams, who saw his team struggle at times in a 102-74 victory over Monmouth on Wednesday to close non-conference play.
Duke at Virginia Tech 12:00 PM ET

Fifth-ranked Duke opens ACC play when it visits Virginia Tech on Saturday for a major test, which will be even more difficult without star guard Grayson Allen. Each team enters the conference portion of its schedule with just one defeat.

Clemson at Wake Forest 12:00 PM ET
It seems a lot needs to go right for Wake Forest to win in the ACC, something it hopes to do Saturday against visiting Clemson. That wasn't the case Wednesday as the Demon Deacons got two points from top scorer John Collins and were on the wrong side of a 17-0 run in an 88-72 loss at Florida State.
Southern Methodist at East Carolina 12:00 PM ET
SMU looks to continue its winning ways when it hits the road to face East Carolina on Saturday in American Athletic Conference play. The Mustangs have won seven consecutive games, including a 58-54 victory against Memphis in their AAC opener to improve to 29-8 in conference play since 2014-15, and they hope to finish without a loss in the month of December for the fourth consecutive year.
Houston at South Florida 12:00 PM ET
Houston attempts to avoid a letdown after posting an inspiring victory when it visits South Florida on Saturday afternoon in an American Athletic Conference matchup. Rob Gray Jr. scored 20 and the Cougars limited Connecticut to 12 first-half points en route to a convincing 62-46 triumph on the road Wednesday - their fourth victory in the last five games.
Louisville at Indiana 12:30 PM ET
Louisville and Indiana were highly impressive for the bulk of their non-conference schedules, securing wins against multiple ranked opponents and displaying a number of their strengths in doing so. Both teams' most glaring flaws were exposed in their conference openers, however, giving the seventh-ranked Cardinals and 16th-ranked Hoosiers only two full days to rectify them leading into Saturday's Countdown Classic meeting at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Villanova at Creighton 1:00 PM ET
After receiving an unlikely challenge in its Big East opener, No. 1 Villanova hits the road Saturday for an intriguing matchup against No. 9 Creighton. Two of the five remaining unbeaten teams in Division I offer fans a showdown between the Bluejays' high-octane offense and the Wildcats' strong, improving defense.
Notre Dame at Pittsburgh 2:00 PM ET
Despite outstanding senior campaigns from Michael Young and Jamel Artis, Pittsburgh has had trouble holding leads in the non-conference portion of its schedule. The Panthers will not have the luxury of losing focus when No. 24 Notre Dame visits Saturday in the ACC opener for both teams.
Connecticut at Tulsa 2:00 PM ET
Connecticut hopes to have star guard Jalen Adams back in the lineup when it visits Tulsa for an American Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon. Adams missed the Huskies' last contest, a 62-46 thrashing at the hands of Houston on Wednesday.
Florida St. at Virginia 2:00 PM ET
Both teams kicked off the ACC season in impressive fashion and will try to extend winning streaks when 20th-ranked Florida State visits No. 11 Virginia on Saturday. Florida State has won nine in a row - one shy of matching its longest run since Leonard Hamilton took over as coach before the 2002-03 season - and its high-octane offense was rolling in Wednesday's 88-72 win over Wake Forest.
Temple at Central Florida 4:00 PM ET
Central Florida is closing 2016 in strong fashion and would gain even more momentum with a home win against Temple on Saturday. The Knights have won three in a row and are coming off a 54-point second half that helped them rally to defeat Tulane in their American Athletic Conference opener.
N.C. State at Miami-Florida 4:30 PM ET
North Carolina State and host Miami (Fla.) will both be seeking their seventh consecutive victories when the ACC foes meet on Saturday in the conference opener for both teams. The Wolfpack has exploded offensively over the last four games, averaging 96 points, but will be facing a team that ranks No. 8 in Division I in scoring defense (58.6 points) and 11th in field-goal percentage defense (37.2).
Gonzaga at Pacific 8:00 PM ET
Sixth-ranked Gonzaga won its last game by 30 points and coach Mark Few and the players were unhappy with the performance. The Bulldogs aim to put together a more pleasing effort on Saturday when they visit the University of the Pacific in West Coast Conference play.
San Diego at St. Mary's 9:00 PM ET
Saint Mary's tries to start its West Coast Conference season 2-0 while continuing its recent domination over San Diego when the No. 19 Gaels host the Toreros on Saturday. Saint Mary's, which won the last five meetings with San Diego and 15 of the past 17 encounters, is coming off a 72-60 victory at Loyola Marymount on Thursday that left coach Randy Bennett pleased and upset at the same time.
