Louisville at Memphis 12:00 PM ET
Louisville coach David Padgett is willing to accept shooting struggles from Quentin Snider, but he just doesn't want his senior guard to lose confidence. Snider, coming off his best game of the season, aims for an encore performance Saturday against Memphis as part of the Gotham Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York.
NC-Greensboro at NC State 12:00 PM ET
North Carolina State plays for just the third time in the past two weeks Saturday when it hosts UNC Greensboro, but a six-day layoff did not hurt the Wolfpack in their last game Dec. 9 against Missouri-Kansas City. Entering that matchup with six days off after a blowout victory over South Carolina State, the Wolfpack cruised to a 19-point victory as Torin Dorn finished with 22 points and a career-best 17 rebounds – his third consecutive game with double-digit rebounds.
Michigan at Detroit Mercy 12:00 PM ET
Michigan looks to build on an encouraging week when it faces Detroit Mercy as part of the Hitachi College Basketball Showcase at the new Little Caesars Arena on Saturday. The Wolverines are coming off back-to-back wins over UCLA (78-69) and at Texas (59-52) to strengthen their NCAA Tournament resume and hope to stay on the winning track by knocking off the Titans for the 15th straight time.
Butler at Purdue 12:00 PM ET

No. 17 Purdue has won six straight games overall and 13 consecutive in the month of December. Butler, the last team to defeat the Boilermakers in December, will try for its sixth straight win overall and against Purdue on Saturday in the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Seton Hall at Rutgers 12:00 PM ET
If host Rutgers is to come away victorious from Saturday's Garden State Hardwood Classic against No. 15 Seton Hall, it must overcome a very good team and some bad recent history. The Pirates have won four straight overall and seven of the last eight road games in the series, while the Scarlet Knights have yet to beat a ranked team under coach Steve Pikiell.
Miami-Florida at George Washington 12:00 PM ET
Miami gets back into action after extending its record to 8-0 with a 69-54 triumph over Boston University on Dec. 5. The eighth-ranked Hurricanes now gear up for a long stretch away from home, beginning with Saturday's visit to George Washington, which last hosted a top-10 opponent Nov. 16, 2015, when it defeated Virginia 73-68.
Syracuse at Georgetown 12:30 PM ET
The weakest schedule in the country has provided Georgetown with an unblemished record, but it remains to be seen if it has prepared the Hoyas for what they will face Saturday against visiting Syracuse. Once adversaries of a different kind, Patrick Ewing and Jim Boeheim will meet for the first time as coaches when the Hoyas and the Orange square off for the 92nd time.
Stephen F. Austin at Louisiana State 1:00 PM ET
LSU has steadied itself after a pair of discouraging losses to Notre Dame and Marquette, heading into Saturday’s home contest against Stephen F. Austin with a lot of momentum after extending its win streak to three games with Wednesday’s victory over Houston. The Tigers got a career night from Aaron Epps and a key block from Tremont Waters in the final seconds of an 80-77 triumph, handing the Cougars their second loss of the season.
Virginia Tech at Kentucky 2:00 PM ET

After feasting on weaker competition for the past six games, fifth-ranked Kentucky faces a difficult test when it hosts Virginia Tech on Saturday. The Hokies have won seven straight and possess the nation’s top offense.

Oklahoma State at Florida State 2:00 PM ET
Florida State, one of only six undefeated teams in the nation entering Friday, climbed into the rankings at No. 19 after extending its season-opening start to 9-0 with a 72-53 victory over Tulane on Sunday. The Seminoles now take aim at tying the school record for the best start to a season (10-0 in 2003-04) when they face Oklahoma State for only the second time in their history (1964) in the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla., on Saturday.
Davidson at Virginia 2:00 PM ET
No. 16 Virginia will have 11 days to take a closer look at its first loss of the season and hopes to learn something from the experience as the Cavaliers open a four-game homestand against Davidson on Saturday afternoon. Virginia started the season with eight straight non-conference wins before dropping a 68-61 decision in a difficult environment at 11th-ranked West Virginia on Dec. 5.
Northwestern at DePaul 2:00 PM ET
Visiting Northwestern looks to stay on the winning track when it faces crosstown rival DePaul on Saturday. The Wildcats have overcome a sluggish start in November, which saw them drop three games after starting the season in the Top 25, by winning three of their first four games in December - including an 84-50 victory against Valparaiso on Thursday and hopes to continue their defensive resurgence by topping the Blue Demons for the third consecutive time.
Drake at Iowa 2:00 PM ET
While its latest victory may have lacked importance in terms of the caliber of opponent, Iowa was able to solve some of the issues that led to a four-game skid while also allowing freshman Luka Garza to flash the form he did in his first few games. The Hawkeyes and their resurgent young 6-11 forward attempt to build on their most recent effort Saturday when they square off against Drake at the Hy-Vee Classic in Des Moines, Iowa.
McNeese St. at Pittsburgh 2:00 PM ET

With just about an entire new roster, Pittsburgh coach Kevin Stallings could have understood if his young team would have just rolled over after a poor first half against then-No. 16 West Virginia on Dec. 9. The Panthers fought back though, cutting an 18-point deficit to two before falling to the Mountaineers, but their task a week later must be to get ready and remain focused when struggling McNeese visits Saturday.

East Tennessee St. at Xavier 2:00 PM ET
No. 9 Xavier likely won't face another stiff test until a Jan. 10 encounter with Villanova - but that won't stop the Musketeers from building a case for a top-five ranking as they look to extend their four-game winning streak Saturday against visiting East Tennessee State. Xavier boasts one of the top scoring margins in the nation and is coming off a 96-69 rout of Colorado.
Louisiana Tech at Texas 2:00 PM ET
Texas will try to regroup offensively without leading scorer Andrew Jones when the Longhorns host Louisiana Tech on Saturday. A poor offensive showing against Michigan in their first game without Jones (wrist) and his 15.3 points per game led to a 59-52 home loss.
Michigan St at Oakland 2:00 PM ET
No. 2 Michigan State returns to the court after nearly a week off to face non-conference foe Oakland at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday as part of the 2017 Hitachi College Basketball Showcase. The Spartans have recorded eight straight wins, including a 25-point rout of Southern Utah in their most recent contest on Sunday, while the Golden Grizzlies also have had a week off since defeating Chicago State by 32 points last Saturday.
Indiana at Notre Dame 2:30 PM ET
Notre Dame coach Mike Brey wanted to get his backcourt tandem of Matt Farrell and T.J. Gates back on track after an up-and-down four-game stretch, and the duo obliged with their most explosive performance of the season. The 18th-ranked Fighting Irish attempt to keep their offense on track Saturday when they square off against Indiana in the annual Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Arena in Indianapolis.
Georgia at Massachusetts 3:00 PM ET
Following an 11-day break for final exams, Georgia coach Mark Fox looks for improvement from his team when it hits the road for a Saturday visit to UMass. The Bulldogs were not sharp in holding off Winthrop at home in an 87-82 home victory Dec. 5, and while Georgia has won seven of its first eight games and owns strong non-conference triumphs over Santa Clara and Marquette, Fox wants to see a better performance with SEC play beginning in two weeks.
Illinois St. at Mississippi 3:30 PM ET
Ole Miss hosts Illinois State on Saturday looking to continue establishing an inside presence on the offensive side of the court. The Rebels, who lost three of their last four games, have struggled without consistent production from the paint.

Oklahoma at Wichita St. 4:00 PM ET
The point guards will take center stage as sophomore Landry Shamet and No. 3 Wichita State host freshman sensation Trae Young and No. 24 Oklahoma on Saturday. Young leads the country in scoring at 28.8 points per game and was third nationally through Wednesday's game with 8.8 assists, while Shamet averages team highs of 16.3 points and 4.3 assists, and shoots 55.3 percent from the field - 53.5 from 3-point range.
Cal St. Fullerton at California 4:00 PM ET
California looks to build on a surprising win over San Diego State and take another step toward Pac-12 play on Saturday when the Bears host Cal State Fullerton, which has won five in row. The Bears’ nonconference schedule has been marked by ugly losses to Chaminade and Central Arkansas, but first-year coach Wyking Jones believes his team is trending in the right direction following the road victory over the Aztecs.
Florida at Clemson 4:30 PM ET
No. 22 Florida snapped a demoralizing three-game losing streak with a big victory last time out and hopes to add another one when it meets Clemson at the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla. on Saturday afternoon. The Gators dropped games against Duke and Florida State before suffering a surprising loss to Loyola Chicago, but knocked off Cincinnati 66-60 last Saturday in Newark, N.J.
Northern Iowa at Iowa State 4:30 PM ET
After opening-season losses to Missouri and Milwaukee, Iowa State coach Steve Prohm was wondering if he had the players to replace four departed seniors who accounted for 73 percent of the scoring, 82 percent of 3-pointers, 56 percent of rebounds and 78 percent of assists. Four weeks later, the Cyclones, led by a talented trio of backcourt players, seek an eighth straight victory when they play Northern Iowa on Saturday in the Hy-Vee Classic at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
Drexel at Temple 5:00 PM ET
After a convincing loss against No. 1 Villanova, Temple might prefer to pick on someone its own size. Three days after the Wildcats clobbered them in the first half, the Owls host Drexel on Saturday.
Middle Tennessee St. at Auburn 6:00 PM ET
It certainly wasn't easy, but Auburn has fashioned a nice little winning streak heading into Saturday's encounter with Middle Tennessee in Birmingham, Ala. The Tigers extended their run to six games last weekend, as Bryce Brown erupted for 27 points in their narrow 85-80 triumph over UAB.
Appalachian St. at Ohio St. 6:00 PM ET
Ohio State looks to extend its winning streak to four games when it hosts Appalachian State on Saturday. The Buckeyes have downed Wisconsin (83-58), Michigan (71-62) and William & Mary (97-62) since their 79-65 setback to Clemson in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Nov. 29, and hope to continue on the right track under first-year coach Chris Holtmann by besting Appalachian State for the second time in program history.
Oregon at Fresno St. 6:00 PM ET
After going 3-1 on its just-completed four-game homestand, Oregon plays its only true road game of the nonconference schedule on Saturday at Fresno State. Indiana - Purdue at Washington St. 6:00 PM ET
The week-long break for finals came at just the right time for Washington State, which has lost three in a row since winning the Wooden Legacy championship game. Troy at Arkansas 8:00 PM ET
After posting its biggest win of the season last weekend, Arkansas hopes the momentum will last until Saturday when the team faces off with Troy in Little Rock, Ark. New Mexico St. at Illinois 8:00 PM ET

Kansas at Nebraska 8:00 PM ET
Kansas appeared nearly unstoppable as it defeated its first seven opponents by an average of 30.6 points, but a poor four-day stretch against two Pac-12 foes last week has coach Bill Self questioning the mental fortitude of his young team. The 12th-ranked Jayhawks attempt to avoid their first three-game losing streak since 2012-13 on Saturday when they visit former Big 12 rival Nebraska.
Tenn-Martin at Mississippi State 8:00 PM ET

Arizona at New Mexico 8:00 PM ET

Now, the 23rd-ranked Wildcats are preparing for their final nonconference road game – Saturday night’s visit to Albuquerque to play struggling New Mexico.
SE Missouri St. at Kansas State 8:00 PM ET
Kansas State has had a week off to process the disappointment of a 61-54 loss to Tulsa and prepare for Saturday's home game against Southeast Missouri State. Rice at Texas Tech 8:00 PM ET
It will feel like old times when Texas Tech hosts old Southwest Conference rival Rice on Saturday night at the Red Raiders' former home court at Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. It's the first game for the Red Raiders at the Coliseum since 1999 and they'll wear throwback uniforms for the special game.
North Florida at Missouri 8:30 PM ET

Missouri can surpass last season’s win total when it hosts North Florida on Saturday. The once-proud Missouri program is enjoying a resurgence in its first season under coach Cuonzo Martin and will aim for its fourth straight win – and ninth of the season – while trying to end the Ospreys’ four-game winning streak.

Saint Louis at Oregon St. 10:30 PM ET
Oregon State has a chance to equal its longest win streak in 12 years when it faces Saint Louis on Saturday night in the Dam City Classic at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore. You have to go back to the 2004-05 season for the last time the Beavers, who have won five straight games, won six in a row.
Utah at Brigham Young 11:00 PM ET

Utah and BYU have met 257 times on the basketball court since 1909, and the Deseret First Duel has been so evenly matched that the Cougars hold a mere 129-128 lead in wins. After a year’s hiatus, the series resumes Saturday night in Provo where the visiting Utes will get a chance to pull even.
