Louisiana Tech at Texas A&M 7:00 PM ET
With five wins in its last six games, No. 3 seed Louisiana Tech visits No. 2 seed Texas A&M in a second-round NIT matchup on Monday. The Bulldogs shook off the disappointment of an overtime loss to UAB in the Conference USA tournament semifinals, besting Central Michigan in the NIT's first round on Tuesday as coach Michael White indicated his team has its eye on a deep run. "We are going to continue to appreciate the game and our opportunities," White said. "We will come out swinging for sure."
Murray St. at Tulsa 9:00 PM ET
Murray State has won 11 straight road games and can advance to the regional finals of the NIT if the team can extend that streak Monday at Tulsa. The Racers appeared destined for the NCAA Tournament before a late 3-pointer left them on the wrong side of an 88-87 defeat to Belmont in the Ohio Valley Conference championship game. Still, they were able to put that loss behind them last Tuesday in an 81-66 triumph against UTEP.
Colorado at Seattle 10:00 PM ET
The College Basketball Invitational is just a blip on the national radar, but don’t tell that to Seattle coach Cameron Dollar, whose Redhawks host Colorado in Monday’s quarterfinals. Seattle expects a sellout crowd at the 1,050-seat Connolly Center for the matchup against the Buffaloes. “How fun is it to have them come into our house,” Dollar told the Seattle Times. “I would have to beg, borrow and steal to get a Pac-12 team to come up into Connolly Center. We’re happy to have them come here.”
