Memphis at Cincinnati 12:00 PM ET
Memphis looks to beat host Cincinnati for a second time this season in an American Athletic Conference game Sunday. The Tigers, who defeated the Bearcats 63-50 on Jan. 15 in Memphis, are coming off a 54-53 victory at Connecticut on Thursday. The win snapped a two-game losing streak and kept Memphis’ slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive.
Penn St. at Minnesota 1:00 PM ET
Minnesota is stumbling toward the end of the regular season and has worked its way off the NCAA Tournament at-large bubble. The Golden Gophers will try to avoid having to play on the first day of the Big Ten tournament when they host Penn State in the regular-season finale on Sunday. The Nittany Lions are locked into the No. 13 spot in the Big Ten while Minnesota is trying to avoid finishing in the No. 11 slot.
Illinois St. at Northern Iowa 2:05 PM ET
Northern Iowa emerged as one of the season’s best stories by rolling off 16 straight wins, but Illinois State appears eager to rewrite what was supposed to be a predictable ending in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. The 12th-ranked Panthers, who are eyeing their third title in seven years Sunday against the Redbirds, embarked on a school-record winning streak after losing their conference opener on Jan. 1.
Tulsa at Southern Methodist 3:00 PM ET
The regular-season crown and No. 1 seed for the conference tournament is on the line when Tulsa visits No. 22 SMU on Sunday in American Athletic Conference play. The Mustangs are looking for their first league title since 1993 when they were in the Southwest Conference before it disbanded. SMU won this season’s first meeting between the teams as guard Nic Moore scored 23 points to post a 68-57 victory over the Golden Hurricane.
East Carolina at Houston 4:00 PM ET
Houston looks to conclude the American Athletic Conference regular season with its third straight win when it hosts East Carolina on Sunday. The Cougars have won back-to-back conference games for just the second time this season after pulling out a 68-63 overtime victory over Tulane, and turn their attention to avenging a 66-61 defeat to the Pirates on Jan. 14. Houston has won all four of the previous meetings at Hofheinz Pavilion, including the last three by an average of 16 points.
Wisconsin at Ohio St. 4:30 PM ET
Fifth-ranked Wisconsin has already won the Big Ten regular-season title, while No. 25 Ohio State also has nothing to play for when it hosts the Badgers on Sunday. The Buckeyes entered the weekend in a four-way tie for third place with two of those teams destined to receive double-byes in the upcoming Big Ten tourney and the other two participating in the first round. As a result of Saturday's action, Ohio State will be the No. 6 seed in the conference tourney next week.
Maryland at Nebraska 7:30 PM ET
Maryland is firmly locked into a second-place finish in the Big Ten standings, so it will be interesting to see how the No. 9 Terrapins approach their regular-season finale Sunday at Nebraska. Maryland has won six straight games - all by 10 points or less - and is 9-0 this season in contests decided by six points or fewer. The Terrapins beat the visiting Cornhuskers 69-65 on Feb. 19.
