Central Florida at Temple 6:30 PM ET
Temple is enduring its worst season ever but would like to jump out of last place in the American Athletic Conference at least. The Owls can drag Central Florida into a tie for the basement when they host the Knights on Tuesday. Temple dropped its fourth straight and 16th in the last 18 games at home to Houston on Saturday to extend its school record to 21 losses - two more than the previous high for an Owls team.
Georgia Tech at Syracuse 7:00 PM ET
Less than three weeks ago, Syracuse was ranked No. 1 with a perfect 25-0 record and a clear path toward a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. But after three losses in their last four games, the seventh-ranked Orange are desperate for a win when they face Georgia Tech in their home finale Tuesday night. Syracuse has struggled in its recently victories, as well, with its last three wins coming by a total of five points.
Creighton at Georgetown 7:00 PM ET
While Wooden Award favorite Doug McDermott continues to rewrite the record books, the success of No. 13 Creighton in the NCAA Tournament will ultimately come down to its supporting cast. McDermott's teammates will try to duplicate their performance against Georgetown last month when they visit the Hoyas on Tuesday. The Bluejays defeated Georgetown 76-63 on Jan. 25 as McDermott and Will Artino (career high) scored 14 points apiece to lead five Bluejays in double figures.
Florida at South Carolina 7:00 PM ET
Top-ranked Florida has the opportunity to become the first SEC team to go 18-0 in conference play as it enters the final week of the regular season. The Gators visit South Carolina on Tuesday and close at home against Kentucky on Saturday. “There are things out there for these guys to achieve,” coach Billy Donovan said Monday. “I think those guys would like to take on those challenges. All that stuff doesn’t make a difference if we don’t play well against South Carolina.”
Michigan at Illinois 7:00 PM ET
No. 12 Michigan looks to clinch its first outright Big Ten championship since the 1985-86 season when it travels to Champaign to face Illinois on Tuesday. The Wolverines secured at least a share of the conference title with a 66-56 win over Minnesota and hope to beat the Fighting Illini for the sixth consecutive time. "I think we have really high-character kids on the team, who sort of have a sense of responsibility for their team and their teammates," coach John Beilein told reporters.
Iowa St. at Baylor 7:00 PM ET
Two teams with plenty to play for face off when No. 17 Iowa State visits Baylor in Big 12 play Tuesday night. The Cyclones who had a four-game win streak snapped at Kansas State on Saturday, began the week in a four-way tie for second place with Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas State while the Bears, who have won five of their last six games, are on the NCAA Tournament bubble and could hit the key 20-win milestone with a victory.
Virginia Tech at Maryland 8:00 PM ET
Maryland hoped to make a final impression in its last season in the ACC, but the Terrapins are heading toward the Big Ten with a whimper given their play down the stretch. The Terrapins host Virginia Tech on Tuesday having lost five of their seven games since posting an 80-60 victory at Virginia Tech on Feb. 1, including Sunday’s 77-73 double-overtime defeat at Clemson that dropped Maryland into a tie for eighth with North Carolina State in the ACC standings.
Miami-Florida at Clemson 8:00 PM ET
With an opening day bye in the ACC tournament locked up, Clemson can turn its attention to possibly landing an at-large bid in NCAA Tournament by winning its final two games, the first of which will be played Tuesday against visiting Miami (Fla.). The Tigers posted a win over Maryland on Sunday in double overtime in the final regular season meeting as conference foes and will close the season with home games against Miami and Pittsburgh.
South Florida at Houston 8:30 PM ET
Houston hopes its final home game of the season is a nice way to send out five seniors, and the continuation of the team's recent hot streak. The Cougars will go for their fourth straight win when they host South Florida on Tuesday, with a postseason berth still a potential end to this up-and-down campaign. They'll need to beat a Bulls team that is desperate for a victory, having dropped six straight contests.
Alabama at Kentucky 9:00 PM ET
Another overhyped and underperforming Kentucky squad is struggling as the pivotal month of March arrives and the No. 24 Wildcats will attempt to begin a turnaround when they host Alabama on Tuesday. Kentucky has lost three of its last five games – including Saturday’s embarrassing 72-67 loss to struggling South Carolina – and has eight defeats overall after preseason prognosticators suggested the Wildcats might not lose all season. Alabama is winless in 13 road or neutral-court games this season
Florida St. at Boston College 9:00 PM ET
After posting consecutive wins for the first time in over six weeks, Florida State looks to continue its late push toward an NCAA Tournament berth as it visits Boston College in ACC play Tuesday. The Seminoles have won three of their last four, leaving coach Leonard Hamilton cautiously optimistic with two regular season games left. "We can't worry about the selection committee," he told the Tallahassee Democrat, adding, "What we do have control of is our focus as we approach (Boston College)."
Marquette at Providence 9:00 PM ET
A pair of NCAA Tournament hopefuls meet Tuesday when Marquette visits Providence in a mammoth Big East affair. The host Friars are squarely on the bubble and might cement a spot with a victory at Creighton on Saturday, but falling flat at home to the Golden Eagles could hinder that mission. The Friars were able to bounce back from a tough double-overtime loss at Villanova two weeks ago by sweeping a two-game road swing at Butler and Seton Hall.
Arizona St. at Oregon 11:00 PM ET
For Arizona State fans, Saturday's win over California was bittersweet. The Sun Devils moved closer to securing an NCAA Tournament bid with the victory but star guard Jahii Carson later announced he was leaving for the NBA after the season. Carson and the Sun Devils look for their third win in a row when they visit Oregon on Tuesday night.
