Wisconsin at Penn St. 12:00 PM ET
Penn State is determined to make some noise in the Big Ten, and the Nittany Lions already own a pair of wins over Ohio State. The Nittany Lions will look to knock off another ranked opponent when they host No. 14 Wisconsin on Sunday. The Badgers have won six straight to jump into third place in the Big Ten and are trying to track down second-place Michigan State.
DePaul at St. John's 12:00 PM ET
St. John's looks to bounce back from two consecutive losses when it hosts DePaul on Sunday. The Red Storm are likely on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble and face a must-win game against the Blue Demons after falling 57-54 to No. 9 Villanova before a 65-53 setback to Xavier on Feb. 25. "Every game is like a championship game," junior guard Phil Greene IV told reporters. "We're going to be prepared and ready so we make the tournament."
Maryland at Clemson 1:00 PM ET
Clemson can earn a ninth victory in Atlantic Coast Conference play for just the ninth time in school history when it hosts Maryland on Sunday. "We've put ourselves in position to do some really good things this year, some special things," Tigers coach Brad Brownell told The State earlier this week. "But we've got to finish."
Purdue at Iowa 2:00 PM ET
With its national ranking soon to be gone, No.19 Iowa will be playing for something far more important when it faces visiting Purdue on Saturday in Big Ten action. The Hawkeyes saw their only losing streak of the season reach three games Thursday in a loss at Indiana in a game rescheduled from Feb. 18 and likely sit on the bubble for an at-large big into the NCAA Tournament.
Marquette at Villanova 2:00 PM ET
Villanova has won nine of its last 10 games - a run that began with an overtime victory over Marquette - and the Wildcats look to continue their hot stretch Sunday against the visiting Golden Eagles. Villanova also has a chance to set the program record for regular-season victories, a mark that would be meaningful to coach Jay Wright. “That’s pretty cool,” Wright said after Wednesday's record-tying win over Butler. “It’s very good. This is a very good group.”
Ohio St. at Indiana 4:00 PM ET
Ohio State has a tenuous grasp on one of the four byes in the upcoming Big Ten tournament and can thank Indiana for the slight margin of error it has. The 20th-ranked Buckeyes, who play their final road game of the season on Sunday against the Hoosiers, held a half-game lead for fourth place over Iowa entering Thursday’s road tilt against Penn State in search of their seventh win in eight games. Instead, the Nittany Lions became the first conference foe since 2008-09 to sweep them.
Georgia Tech at Florida St. 6:00 PM ET
Florida State will look to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-January when it hosts Georgia Tech in ACC play on Sunday. The Seminoles had perhaps their best performance of the season in a 71-66 win at Pittsburgh last time out, leaving coach Leonard Hamilton hopeful that a late-season run might still lead to an NCAA Tournament berth. "I like the position we are in," he told the Tallahassee Democrat, "(but) we have to turn it up a notch."
Stanford at Arizona 8:00 PM ET
Arizona can clinch the Pac-12 regular-season title outright with a victory Sunday against visiting Stanford, but it won’t come easy as the No. 3 Wildcats learned when they squeezed out a three-point win against the Cardinal on Jan 29. Since improving to a school-record 21-0 with that win, Arizona has shown some blemishes, losing the following game to California and another two weeks later at Arizona State. But the Wildcats have won 20 straight on their home floor.
Oregon St. at UCLA 9:00 PM ET
UCLA standouts Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams will be back from one-game suspensions when the Bruins host Oregon State in Sunday’s Pac-12 contest. The two players were disciplined for violating an unspecified team rule and missed Thursday’s 87-83 double-overtime loss to Oregon. The Beavers are looking to sweep the Bruins for the first time since 1988, having posted a 71-67 home victory on Feb. 2 behind Hallice Cooke’s 20 points.
