Missouri at Georgia 12:00 PM ET
Georgia looks to avoid a damaging blow to its postseason resume when it hosts struggling Missouri on Saturday. The Bulldogs have won two straight to maintain a spot on the NCAA Tournament bubble, but they can't afford a bad loss. The Tigers, who snapped a 13-game losing streak with a 64-52 win over Florida on Tuesday, are looking to post consecutive victories for the first time since Jan. 3 and 8.
East Carolina at Central Florida 12:00 PM ET
East Carolina looks for its first true road victory when it visits UCF on Saturday in an American Athletic Conference matchup. The Pirates are 0-7 on the road during league play, and their only triumph away from home in 13 tries came against Fresno State at Estero, Fla. in November. UCF, which is coming in off an 83-60 loss at Cincinnati, tries to avenge a 67-49 defeat at East Carolina on Feb. 7 and has split its last six home contests -- including Sunday's 75-65 overtime loss to Memphis.
Georgia Tech at Clemson 12:00 PM ET
Georgia Tech lost 10 consecutive games to Clemson, but the Yellow Jackets have a chance to beat the Tigers for the second time in 13 days Saturday. The Tigers host Georgia Tech having dropped four of their past five, including a 63-52 defeat in Atlanta on Feb. 16. The Yellow Jackets followed up that victory with two consecutive losses and have not won two games in a row since mid-December.
Michigan at Maryland 12:00 PM ET
If Michigan wants to play postseason basketball, a win at No. 14 Maryland on Saturday would certainly help improve the Wolverines' resume. The Wolverines snapped a five-game losing streak with Sunday's win against then-No. 23 Ohio State and a late-season run might be enough to sneak Michigan into the postseason. The Wolverines, who have played in five NCAA Tournaments in John Beilein's first seven seasons, are 3-6 since losing scoring leader Caris LeVert to a foot injury.
N.C. State at Boston College 12:00 PM ET
A commitment to playing better defense after a 88-84 loss at Wake Forest on Feb. 3 seems to have turned the season around for North Carolina State, which visits Boston College on Saturday afternoon in ACC play. The Wolfpack are allowing an average of 54.2 points since the loss to the Demon Deacons including a 58-46 victory at No. 18 North Carolina on Tuesday, the fewest points ever scored by the Tar Heels in the Smith Center which opened in 1986.
Georgetown at St. John's 12:00 PM ET
Teetering on the edge of the NCAA Tournament picture for the past month, St. John's get a chance on national TV to boost its resume when its hosts rival Georgetown in a Big East contest on Saturday afternoon. With D'Angelo Harrison - a contender for conference player of the year - in sizzling form, the Red Storm have won two straight and five of their last six to state their case for a bid. St. John's has an RPI of 32 but was hammered at Georgetown just two weeks ago.
Louisville at Florida St. 12:00 PM ET
Generating offense was already a problem for No. 15 Louisville prior to the dismissal of Chris Jones and early returns suggest the situation isn’t going to improve without him. Attempting to move on after Jones, the Cardinals eye a third straight win Saturday in their road finale against Florida State. Already sporting the second-worst scoring offense of the Rick Pitino era, Louisville kicked Jones off the team Sunday for reportedly sending a threatening text message to a female acquaintance.
Dayton at VCU 2:00 PM ET
There may not be a more compelling conference than the Atlantic 10, in which there is a four-way tie for first place among a quartet of squads with at least 19 victories. Two of those teams meet Saturday when Dayton travels to 24th-ranked VCU in a matchup featuring two of the league’s top scorers in VCU’s Treveon Graham (fourth at 16.6) and Dayton’s Jordan Sibert (sixth at 16.4). Dayton has won four of five, while the Rams were upset in double-overtime Wednesday by Richmond.
Northern Iowa at Wichita St. 2:00 PM ET
The Missouri Valley Conference takes center stage Saturday when No. 10 Northern Iowa visits 11th-ranked Wichita State to determine the league’s regular-season champion. The Panthers have won 16 straight since losing their MVC opener to Evansville on Dec. 31, but they’ll be tested at Wichita State’s Koch Arena, where the Shockers have won 31 straight. Northern Iowa handed the Shockers their only MVC loss on Jan. 31, when forward Seth Tuttle scored 29 points in the Panthers’ 70-54 win.
Villanova at Xavier 2:00 PM ET
Villanova seeks its 10th straight victory and is chasing a No. 1 seed in next month’s NCAA Tournament as it visits Xavier on Saturday. The sixth-ranked Wildcats have clinched at least a tie for the Big East crown and are looking to complete a regular-season sweep of the Musketeers after making 15 3-point baskets in an 88-75 win on Jan. 14. Xavier is .500 in conference play and is in need of a sustained stretch of wins to ensure it's part of the NCAA field.
Texas Christian at Oklahoma 2:00 PM ET
Oklahoma and visiting TCU, who meet Saturday afternoon, will be right in the middle of the Big 12's wild finish. The No. 17 Sooners - who are 12-1 at home - enter the weekend in a three-way tie with West Virginia and Iowa State for second place and a game back of league-leading Kansas. Oklahoma faces the Cyclones and Jayhawks to finish the regular season while TCU also plays Iowa State in the regular-season finale.
Mississippi at Louisiana State 2:00 PM ET
Two teams hoping to solidify their NCAA Tournament credentials square off Saturday, when LSU hosts Ole Miss in a key SEC matchup. The Rebels widely are considered a lock for the Tournament, but they're coming off a tough 76-72 home loss to Georgia and could use a few more wins to ensure their invitation. The Tigers likely have work to do, but a win Saturday would greatly help their case.
Butler at DePaul 2:00 PM ET
No. 23 Butler, which heads into the final eight days of Big East Conference play locked in a second place tie with Georgetown, visits slumping DePaul on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Demons have lost five straight and eight of their last nine games. That streak includes a 83-73 loss at Butler on Feb. 7.
North Carolina at Miami-Florida 2:00 PM ET
Miami (Fla.) point guard Angel Rodriguez snapped out of a lengthy shooting slump last time out and will need another strong performance when the Hurricanes host No. 18 North Carolina on Saturday. Rodriguez shot a 21.4 percent from the field in the previous 11 games before matching his career high with 25 points in Wednesday’s 81-77 victory over Florida State. Miami has won three of its last four while the Tar Heels hope to break out of a 2-5 slump after scoring 46 points in their last outing.
Cincinnati at Tulane 2:00 PM ET
Known primarily for its hard-nosed defense, Cincinnati put up a near-historic shooting display in its last time out. The Bearcats did not enjoy a similar fate the last time they faced Tulane, however, and will try to avenge a home loss to their new conference rival on Saturday when they hit the road to face the Green Wave. Cincinnati, which ranks sixth in Division I in scoring defense but 289th in scoring offense, had not topped 63 points in February prior to Wednesday’s 83-60 rout of UCF.
Iowa St. at Kansas St. 4:00 PM ET
Iowa State looks to get back on track when it hits the road to take on Kansas State on Saturday. The 13th-ranked Cyclones squandered a golden opportunity to pull into a first-place tie with No. 9 Kansas in the Big 12 race as they crumbled down the stretch in a 79-70 loss to No. 20 Baylor on Wednesday. Iowa State no longer controls its own destiny in its quest for its first regular-season conference title since 2001 and must navigate a tricky trip to Manhattan, Kan., to stay in contention.
West Virginia at Baylor 4:00 PM ET
West Virginia has a shot at winning the Big 12 title, but a visit to Baylor on Saturday could be the type of contest to end that quest. The 19th-ranked Mountaineers are one game behind first-place Kansas – a team they already beat once and play again on March 3 – and need a road win against the Bears to keep the showdown in place. No. 20 Baylor is in fifth place in the Big 12 and coming off an impressive 79-70 road win against Iowa State on Wednesday.
Virginia Tech at Virginia 4:00 PM ET
Third-ranked Virginia aims to clinch at least a share of the ACC regular-season crown when it hosts Virginia Tech on Saturday. Playing its fifth straight game without leading scorer Justin Anderson, and with point guard London Perrantes (concussion) also sidelined, the Cavaliers never missed a beat with a 70-34 dismantling at Wake Forest on Wednesday. The nation's premier defense forced the Demon Deacons into a woeful 12-for-55 shooting effort as Virginia moved closer to a second straight league
Arkansas at Kentucky 4:00 PM ET
Arkansas has won seven straight games in SEC play, but the 16th-ranked Razorbacks still are flying under the radar nationally. That would change immediately with a victory Saturday at top-ranked Kentucky, whose 28-game winning streak is the second-longest in school history. “It would mean a lot to Razorback Nation,” forward Alandise Harris told CBS Sports Radio. “But to us, it would just be a game that we feel we can win. We beat them last year two times. It would just be another win for us.”
Alabama at Vanderbilt 4:00 PM ET
Alabama has had a little trouble with consistency as it tries to make a case for an NCAA Tournament bid while alternating wins and losses throughout February. Coming off a win over South Carolina, the Crimson Tide would like to change that trend with a victory at Vanderbilt on Saturday. To do that, they'll need to knock off a Commodores squad that won at Tuscaloosa in the teams' first meeting this season on Valentine's Day.
Creighton at Seton Hall 4:00 PM ET
A Big East tournament seeding could be on the line when Seton Hall attempts to end a six-game losing streak Saturday against visiting Creighton. Once upon a time, the Pirates were 12-2 and a likely shoe-in for an NCAA Tournament bid, but now they are just looking for any kind of win.
Oklahoma St. at Texas Tech 4:00 PM ET
A three-game losing streak has prompted Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford to take a long, hard look at his team before Saturday's game at Texas Tech. "I’m going to use this week to see who we can really rely on," Ford told reporters. "We have too many guys worried about themselves." The Cowboys dropped a second consecutive home game to No. 19 West Virginia last Saturday, 73-63, despite four starters scoring in double figures.
Texas at Kansas 5:00 PM ET
There is a quartet of teams trying to track down eighth-ranked Kansas as it aims for an 11th straight Big 12 title, and a slip-up at home against Texas on Saturday could open the door for any number of them. The Jayhawks have dropped two of three to help intensify the title race and still have games left against West Virginia and Oklahoma, two of the three teams that trail the Jayhawks by a game entering the weekend. Kansas coughed up an eight-point, second-half lead in a 70-63 setback at Kansas
Tennessee at Florida 6:00 PM ET
Florida is experiencing a dreadful season and the Gators aim to end their dismal stretch at home Saturday against another sinking program in Tennessee. Both teams have lost six of their last seven games and it is especially disappointing for the Gators, who are used to being near the top of the SEC and not being mired in the bottom half. A season of lows got worse on Tuesday when Missouri broke a 13-game losing streak by beating Florida 64-52.
Iowa at Penn St. 6:00 PM ET
Iowa is making a strong push for a top-four finish in the Big Ten Conference and goes for its fourth consecutive victory at Penn State on Saturday. The late surge has moved the Hawkeyes within one game of Michigan State for fourth place in the Big Ten, a coveted slot that would earn them a double-bye in the conference's postseason tournament. Iowa won has three in a row against the Nittany Lions, including its last two visits to Happy Valley.
Mississippi St. at South Carolina 6:00 PM ET
Mississippi State and South Carolina are both limping to the finish of the SEC regular season while trying to avoid a spot in the first day of the SEC tournament. The Gamecocks will try to pull even for 11th place in the conference when they host the Bulldogs on Saturday. The bottom four finishers in the conference each have to play on Wednesday at the start of the SEC tournament, and both Mississippi State and South Carolina are among those fighting off the bottom four.
Syracuse at Duke 7:00 PM ET
Duke has its eyes set on a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament - a quest that would receive an additional boost with a home victory against Syracuse in Saturday's ACC matchup. The fifth-ranked Blue Devils have won eight straight games, including an 80-72 victory over the Orange at the Carrier Dome on Valentine's Day. Jahlil Okafor scored 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds to fuel the visitors in that contest.
Northwestern at Illinois 7:00 PM ET
Illinois looks to get back on the winning track when it hosts in-state rival Northwestern on Saturday. The Fighting Illini have dropped three consecutive games, including a 68-60 loss to Iowa on Wednesday, to see their hopes of earning an NCAA Tournament bid take a severe hit. Illinois returns home where it has won four of its last five games and 10 of 12 overall, as its tries to regroup by beating the Wildcats in Champaign for the first time since Jan. 6, 2011.
Tulsa at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
Tulsa has won 15 of its last 17 games, notched its second straight 20-win season and is a half-game in back of first-place SMU in the American Athletic Conference. The Golden Hurricane also are squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble, with bracketologists differing on whether Tulsa should be invited (CBS Sports) or left out (ESPN) of the 68-team field. What’s not debatable, though, is that the Golden Hurricane need to keep winning, and the next opportunity comes Saturday at Memphis.
Boise St. at San Diego St. 8:00 PM ET
The Mountain West Conference regular season title could be at stake Saturday when Boise State travels to face No. 22 San Diego State. With four straight wins, the Aztecs are back in the Top 25 for the first time in two months and will be looking to avenge their worst conference loss of the season to the Broncos, who won by 15 at home Feb. 8.
Auburn at Texas A&M 8:30 PM ET
Texas A&M could still use a few more victories to assure itself an NCAA Tournament bid and can’t afford a letdown when struggling Auburn pays a visit Saturday in SEC play. The Aggies saw a three-game winning streak come to an end with an 81-75 loss at Arkansas on Tuesday and will try to win for the sixth time in seven games on their home court. Texas A&M will have to be alert against Auburn, which has won two of its last three on the road despite dropping nine of the past 11 overall.
Arizona at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The two best teams in the Pac-12 square off Saturday night when No. 7 Arizona travels to face No. 12 Utah. The Wildcats have won five in a row and lead the Utes by one game in the race to be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. The Utes have captured six of seven and bounced back from their only loss in that stretch with a dominant performance last time out.
Brigham Young at Gonzaga 10:00 PM ET
Winners of 22 straight and eyeing a No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed, second-ranked Gonzaga already is in postseason mode. After slugging it out Thursday to beat slow-paced San Diego, the Bulldogs will shift gears Saturday in preparation for a visit from BYU, the nation’s highest-scoring team at 84.4 points per game. It’s the regular-season finale for both teams and Senior Night for Gonzaga, which already has wrapped up its 14th West Coast Conference regular-season title in the last 15 years.
Washington at Southern California 10:30 PM ET
USC has declared that point guard Jordan McLaughlin will miss the rest of the season as it prepares to host struggling Washington in Saturday’s Pac-12 contest. McLaughlin had missed four straight games since injuring his shoulder against Oregon on Feb. 11 and early reports claim he will need five-plus months to recover from the upcoming surgery. The freshman point guard was one of the Trojans’ few bright spots and averaged 12.1 points and 4.5 assists.
