Fatigue could provide another difficult obstacle for No. 22 North Carolina to hurdle as it prepares to host rejuvenated Notre Dame on Monday night in an ACC showdown. The Tar Heels will play their third game in five days after knocking off No. 8 Duke on Thursday and following that up with a furious 96-89 triumph at North Carolina State two days later as junior forward Luke Maye recorded 33 points and 17 rebounds.

After a dreadful 2-7 start to Big 12 play that included a pair of three-point road losses at West Virginia (57-54) and Kansas (70-67), Baylor has rebounded with three straight victories highlighted by Saturday's 80-64 drubbing of the 10th-ranked Jayhawks. But the Bears have little time to celebrate with a key Monday night road game on deck against Texas, which joins them in a four-way tie for sixth place.

With a 15-1 start to the season - including 4-0 in Big 12 play - and a No. 2 national ranking, West Virginia looked like the favorite to finally snap the 13-year regular-season title run of Kansas. But the Mountaineers have won just three of their last eight conference games, including a surprising 88-85 home loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday, and now find themselves in third place heading into Monday night's game with visiting TCU.
