Mississippi St. at Mississippi 7:00 PM ET
A pair of teams needing a victory to move up in the standings and help their hopes for the postseason clash on Tuesday, when Mississippi State travels to face in-state rival Ole Miss in a Southeastern Conference contest. The Bulldogs have dropped three of four overall and two straight on the road, while the Rebels are coming off a three-point loss to then-No. 5 Baylor on Saturday.
Iowa at Rutgers 7:00 PM ET
Iowa, which begins the week in a five-way tie for sixth place in the Big Ten, begins a stretch that will see it play three of its next four games on the road when it visits Rutgers on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights occupy the cellar in the Big Ten but gave conference co-leader Wisconsin a scare on Saturday before falling 61-54 in overtime at Madison Square Garden.
Maryland at Ohio St. 7:00 PM ET
While it was an upsetting time last week for many Top 25 teams, Maryland calmly extended its winning streak to six games in moving up six spots to No. 17 entering Tuesday’s visit to Ohio State. The Terrapins sit tied with Wisconsin atop the conference standings and have won 19 of their first 21 after Saturday’s victory at Minnesota to match their best start in program history.
Pittsburgh at North Carolina 7:00 PM ET
First-place North Carolina looks to rebound from a dispiriting road loss when it returns home to face struggling Pittsburgh on Tuesday night in an ACC matchup. The 10th-ranked Tar Heels had won seven straight contests before coming apart in a 77-62 loss at Miami (Fla.) on Saturday, which reduced their lead over second-place Virginia to one-half game in the conference.
Wake Forest at Boston College 7:00 PM ET
Wake Forest will try to recover from a disappointing loss at home when it visits Boston College on Tuesday for an ACC matchup. A program in need of a big win as it tries to climb the ladder in the ACC, the Demon Deacons had then-No. 17 Duke on the ropes Saturday afternoon, leading by 10 points with under four minutes remaining.
Creighton at Butler 7:00 PM ET
Butler has enjoyed a great deal of success versus ranked opponents this season, winning five of its six such games. The 15th-ranked Bulldogs look to avenge their only setback to a top-25 foe and lone loss by more than four points Tuesday when they welcome No. 22 Creighton into Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Temple at Tulane 8:00 PM ET
The good news for both Temple and Tulane is that when they square off Tuesday evening, one of the teams has to win. The visiting Owls and the Green Wave have combined to win just three of their 18 conference games this season, although the prolonged struggles certainly are more uncommon for Temple.
Tennessee at Auburn 9:00 PM ET
It's great to be a Tennessee men's basketball player these days with the team riding a three-game winning streak into Tuesday's encounter with host Auburn. The Volunteers have given themselves new life in the SEC, thanks in no small part to a stunning win over conference leader Kentucky as part of their recent run.
Georgia at Kentucky 9:00 PM ET
Kentucky has an issue, but the SEC schedule - for the most part - offers plenty of time for the No. 6 Wildcats to fix the problem as they carry an unusual losing streak into Tuesday's game against visiting Georgia. Kentucky's halfcourt offense was ineffective in Saturday's 79-73 home loss to No. 2 Kansas, revealing that it needs a consistent attack other than from its potent fast break if a ninth NCAA championship is on the school's horizon.
Vanderbilt at Texas A&M 9:00 PM ET

Texas A&M is languishing in the bottom half of the SEC standings, but it will try for its third straight victory in conference play when it hosts Vanderbilt on Tuesday. The Aggies put together consecutive wins over Georgia and Ole Miss before their comeback fell short in an 81-77 loss at West Virginia on Saturday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Wisconsin at Illinois 9:00 PM ET
No. 9 Wisconsin looks to continue its recent dominance of Illinois when it hits the road to face the Fighting Illini on Tuesday. The Badgers have won 10 consecutive meetings with Illinois, including the last five matchups by an average margin of 15 points, and are coming off a 61-54 overtime victory against Rutgers on Saturday in New York City to keep pace with 17th-ranked Maryland at the top of the Big Ten standings.
Georgetown at DePaul 9:00 PM ET
After two straight victories over ranked opponents, Tuesday's Big East game at DePaul should be an easy mark for Georgetown. The Hoyas, who posted back-to-back wins against Top 25 opponents for the first time since 2013, won 19 of the last 20 meetings against the Blue Demons.
West Virginia at Iowa St. 9:00 PM ET
West Virginia’s vaunted press defense has been known to befuddle many a point guard. The No. 12 Mountaineers will face perhaps their biggest test when they tangle with Monte Morris and the rest of the Iowa State Cyclones on Tuesday in Ames, Iowa.
