January 12, 2017
Ohio St. at Wisconsin 7:00 PM ET
Seventeenth-ranked Wisconsin looks to bounce back from its first Big Ten loss when it hosts slumping Ohio State on Thursday night. The Badgers, who had a nine-game winning streak snapped Sunday with a 66-55 setback at 19th-ranked Purdue, have won 15 consecutive home games dating to a 63-60 loss to Maryland last January and have won 11 of their last 13 games with the Buckeyes at the Kohl Center.
Clemson at Georgia Tech 7:00 PM ET
Clemson travels to Georgia Tech on Thursday after each team opened ACC play with matchups against some of the nation’s elite. The Tigers have dropped two in a row against ranked competition, falling to No. 12 North Carolina and 20th-ranked Notre Dame by a combined eight points, while the Yellow Jackets followed up their conference-opening upset of North Carolina with losses to seventh-ranked Duke and No. 15 Louisville.
Notre Dame at Miami-Florida 7:00 PM ET
Notre Dame attempts to start 4-0 in conference play for the first time in program history when the No. 20 Fighting Irish visit Miami on Thursday night. Notre Dame, which is coming off a home victory against Clemson, is 3-0 for the second time as a member of the ACC but never started with four straight league wins in the ACC or during their time in the Big East.
Loyola Marymount at Gonzaga 9:00 PM ET
Fifth-ranked Gonzaga is the only unblemished team in the nation and aims to run its winning streak to 16 games when it hosts Loyola Marymount on Thursday night in West Coast Conference play. The Bulldogs have defeated the Lions 14 consecutive times and have posted 26 consecutive home victories in the series.
Purdue at Iowa 9:00 PM ET
The Big Ten season is barely three weeks old, but No. 19 Purdue will complete its season series with Iowa on Thursday night in Iowa City. The Boilermakers, who opened Big Ten play with a 89-67 victory over the Hawkeyes on Dec. 28th, will be trying to sweep the two-game series with Iowa for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
Northwestern at Rutgers 9:00 PM ET
Northwestern looks to win back-to-back Big Ten road games for the first time in over a year when it tangles with Rutgers on Thursday. The Wildcats ended a two-game slide with a gritty 74-66 victory against red-hot Nebraska on Sunday and hope to build on the victory by beating the Scarlet Knights for the third consecutive time.
Washington at California 9:00 PM ET
California forward Ivan Rabb’s season has been marred by injuries and inconsistency, but the Preseason All-American is beginning to show why he likely will be a first-round NBA draft pick. The 6-11 sophomore looks to continue his strong play Thursday as the Golden Bears face visiting Washington, which will be without its best shot blocker for the next four to five weeks.
Southern California at Utah 9:00 PM ET
USC has gone from its best start to a season since 1971 to the middle of the Pac-12 pack after four conference games, and the schedule won't get any easier when the No. 25 Trojans visit Utah on Thursday night. USC is coming off a 74-73 setback against visiting California on Sunday, its first loss at home since the regular-season finale last March, and the Trojans are already looking up at five teams in the Pac-12 standings.
Arizona State at Arizona 9:00 PM ET

At 4-0, No. 16 Arizona shares the early Pac-12 lead with Oregon, but it isn’t blessed with a deep rotation with Allonzo Trier’s continuing suspension. Coach Sean Miller and the Wildcats will continue to work with what they have Thursday night as they welcome rival Arizona State for a visit.

Southern Methodist at Cincinnati 9:00 PM ET
The last remaining undefeated teams in the American Athletic Conference face off when SMU travels to No. 22 Cincinnati on Thursday in a battle of two of the hottest teams in both the league and the country. SMU comes in riding a 10-game winning streak, while the Bearcats have won six in a row and 11 of 12.
Washington St. at Stanford 11:00 PM ET
Stanford is winless through four Pac-12 games and missing its leading scorer and rebounder, but it remains optimistic heading into Thursday’s contest against visiting Washington State. First-year coach Jerod Haase is preaching patience for the Cardinal, who are next-to-last in the Pac-12 in scoring at 68.6 points per game while shooting a conference-worst 42.5 percent.
UCLA at Colorado 11:00 PM ET
UCLA didn't fare too well the last time it was away from home in the Pac-12, so the fourth-ranked Bruins will likely be extra focused Thursday night when they take on Colorado in Boulder. UCLA lost at Oregon on Dec. 28 in its conference opener before winning at Oregon State, and the Bruins are still trying to catch the No. 11 Ducks and No. 16 Arizona - both of whom began the week unbeaten in Pac-12 play.
St. Mary's at Portland 11:00 PM ET
It seems that no one can slow down No. 21 Saint Mary's these days - not even a rare blast of winter weather in the Pacific Northwest. The Gaels will look to extend their winning streak to nine games Thursday as they visit a Portland team that had its previous game postponed due to snow.
