Indiana at Michigan St 7:00 PM ET
One season after using two wins over Indiana in 17 days to get off to the best 19-game start in school history, Michigan State hopes to avoid losing its first two games in Big Ten play for the first time since 2006-07 on Monday, when it hosts the Hoosiers. The Spartans have dropped two of their last three at home, including a shocking overtime loss to Texas Southern on Dec. 20. After crushing The Citadel two days later, Michigan State fell 68-66 in double OT to Maryland on Tuesday.
West Virginia at Texas Tech 7:00 PM ET
No. 15 West Virginia faces a quick turnaround from Saturday’s victory over TCU when it visits Texas Tech on Monday in a matchup of unbeaten teams. Gary Browne led the way in Saturday’s 78-67 win for sidelined leading scorer Juwan Staten (illness) as the Mountaineers scored 48 second-half points and wore down TCU in the final 10 minutes. Texas Tech looks to shake off a 70-61 loss to No. 10 Texas.
Notre Dame at North Carolina 7:00 PM ET
Victories are going to be hard to come by in the loaded ACC this season, so contests like Monday's showdown between No. 20 North Carolina and No. 13 Notre Dame will be critical when it comes to separating the top teams. The Fighting Irish head to Chapel Hill, N.C. with a 10-game winning streak after surviving a scare in an 83-76 double-overtime win over Georgia Tech on Saturday. The Tar Heels extended their run of success to five games with a 74-50 blowout at Clemson on Saturday.
Nebraska at Iowa 9:00 PM ET
Iowa may only be one game into its conference schedule but already has a signature Big Ten victory. After winning at Ohio State last week, the Hawkeyes look to improve to 2-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2002-03 season when they host Nebraska on Monday. Playing its fourth ranked foe last Tuesday, Iowa jumped ahead of the Buckeyes by 12 points early and led throughout its 71-65 win in Columbus.
Oklahoma at Texas 9:00 PM ET
No. 21 Oklahoma will look for another big performance from TaShawn Thomas when it travels to face 10th-ranked Texas on Monday. The Houston transfer had 24 points and eight rebounds in his Big 12 Conference debut and leads the league with a 60.4 shooting percentage. "I didn't really feel like I played to my potential (during non-conference play)," Thomas said after Saturday's win against Baylor.
