Rutgers at Michigan St 6:30 PM ET
Michigan State looks to stay unbeaten in Big Ten play on Wednesday as it hosts Rutgers, which has yet to win a conference game. The Spartans have captured three straight, including their first two Big Ten contests, while the Scarlet Knights are on a three-game losing streak.
Villanova at Butler 6:30 PM ET
No. 1 Villanova appears to be on cruise control, but a visit to No. 18 Butler could be a legitimate road block for the defending national champions. The Wildcats take on the Bulldogs on Wednesday looking to win their 21st straight game behind do-it-all senior Josh Hart.
Auburn at Vanderbilt 7:00 PM ET
Despite a mediocre record, Vanderbilt first-year coach Bryce Drew likes the way his new team has been playing the past two weeks. After accomplishing one milestone on Thursday, his Commodores look for their first 2-0 start in SEC play since 2011-12 when a young but talented Auburn team visits Wednesday.
South Carolina at Georgia 7:00 PM ET
South Carolina senior guard Sindarius Thornwell has missed the last six games due to a suspension, but he will return to the court for Wednesday’s SEC opener at Georgia. Thornwell, who averaged a team-leading 18.7 points while fueling the Gamecocks’ 7-0 start to the season, apologized to fans and teammates Monday in a prepared statement.
Georgia Tech at Duke 7:00 PM ET

Duke has been in disarray in recent weeks, hardly looking like the team that was favored to win the national championship in the preseason. The eighth-ranked Blue Devils hope to get back on track Wednesday, when they host Georgia Tech in an ACC contest.

Miami-Florida at Syracuse 7:00 PM ET
Coming off polar-opposite outcomes in their ACC openers, visiting Miami tries to run its winning streak to eight games while struggling Syracuse attempts to rebound from an ugly road loss to Boston College when the conference foes meet Wednesday. The Hurricanes were strong on both ends of the court in a surprisingly one-sided 81-63 home victory against North Carolina State while the Orange's defense was a no-show in a stunning 96-81 loss to Boston College, which finished 0-18 in ACC play last se
Georgetown at Providence 7:00 PM ET
Following three straight double-digit losses on the road, Providence returns home looking to snap out of its funk when it hosts Georgetown in a Big East matchup Wednesday night. The Friars fell 78-61 at then-No. 13 Butler on Sunday, showing little ability to bounce back from an embarrassing 26-point loss at Xavier four days earlier.
Oklahoma St. at Texas 8:00 PM ET
Oklahoma State and Texas lost their Big 12 openers last week and will try to avoid falling further behind the pack when they meet Wednesday night in Austin, Tex. Oklahoma State is coming off a 92-75 home loss Friday to No. 7 West Virginia in their conference opener, the same night the Longhorns lost by three points at Kansas State.
Iowa St. at Baylor 8:00 PM ET
Baylor, which began the season unranked, moved up to No. 3 in this week's coaches' poll after thrashing host Oklahoma 76-50 in its Big 12 opener. The Bears, one of only three remaining unbeaten teams in Division I, now begin a two-game homestand on Wednesday against Iowa State.
Penn St. at Michigan 8:30 PM ET
Michigan looks to continue its recent dominance of Penn State when it hosts the Nittany Lions in Big Ten play on Wednesday. The Wolverines have won five consecutive meetings, including a 79-72 victory in Ann Arbor last season, and hope to notch their eighth straight home victory in the series while handing John Beilein his 200th win at Michigan.
Creighton at St. John's 8:30 PM ET
Outside of the two teams most expected to do well in the Big East this season, very little has held to form in college basketball's most challenging conference according to RPI - a fact not lost on Creighton coach Greg McDermott. The 10th-ranked Bluejays attempt to bounce back from their first loss Wednesday when they travel to Carnesecca Arena in New York to face resurgent St. John's.
Louisiana State at Missouri 9:00 PM ET

Two teams trying to overcome woes at one end of the floor square off Wednesday, when struggling Missouri hosts LSU in an SEC matchup. It’s the league opener for Missouri, which hopes to atone for three embarrassing home losses during the non-conference slate and start SEC play on a high note.

Virginia Tech at N.C. State 9:00 PM ET
Virginia Tech is nationally ranked for the first time in more than six years and the No. 23 Hokies begin their quest to remain in the Top 25 when they visit North Carolina State on Wednesday in ACC play. Virginia Tech pushed its way into the rankings with an impressive 89-75 victory over Duke on Saturday that pushed its winning streak to eight games.
Louisville at Notre Dame 9:00 PM ET
Louisville can already make a strong case for being the state champions of Indiana, but it can really strengthen that argument by scratching out a victory in a venue that has turned into its house of horrors. The ninth-ranked Cardinals attempt to win in the Joyce Center for the first time since 1994 on Wednesday when they travel to No. 21 Notre Dame.
Virginia at Pittsburgh 9:00 PM ET
Both No. 12 Virginia and Pittsburgh lost their first ACC games on late 3-pointers, giving them similar mindsets as they enter a conference matchup Wednesday at the Panthers' Petersen Events Center. The Cavaliers saw their four-game winning streak come to an end when Florida State's Dwayne Bacon drilled a three with four seconds to go in the Seminoles' 60-58 win Saturday at Virginia.
Oregon at Washington 9:00 PM ET
After opening Pac-12 play by knocking off two unbeaten teams, No. 14 Oregon heads out on the road Wednesday to face a Washington team looking to bounce back from a surprising loss to rival Washington State. The Ducks' 11-game winning streak includes impressive home victories over UCLA and USC, who were a combined 27-0 when they arrived in Eugene last week.
Tulsa at Houston 9:00 PM ET
Behind the 1-2 punch of Rob Gray, Jr. and Damyean Dotson, Houston looks to continue its impressive start in the American Athletic Conference in Wednesday's home game against Tulsa. Gray and Dotson combined for 80 points and spearheaded the defense as the Cougars opened league play with a pair of road victories for the second consecutive season.
Temple at Southern Methodist 9:00 PM ET
To say that SMU and Temple are heading in different directions would be quite the understatement. The surging Mustangs and fading Owls collide Wednesday in Dallas for an American Athletic Conference tilt.
Oregon St. at Washington St. 11:00 PM ET
Washington State’s rebuilding process has received a giant boost in the form of freshman point guard Malachi Flynn, a lightly recruited Tacoma native who makes the Cougars instantly more interesting. Flynn looks to build on his impressive Pac-12 debut Wednesday at Spokane Arena as Washington State faces Oregon State, which opened league play last week with losses to USC and UCLA.
