Kyler Murray passed for 207 yards and a touchdown with an interception for Arizona (1-2). Marvin Harrison Jr. caught five passes for 64 yards and a score.

Goff completed all 12 of his first-half passes as the Lions grabbed a 20-10 halftime advantage.

Montgomery rushed for 39 yards on the Lions' first possession, which he finished with a 1-yard plunge.

Arizona responded with a 70-yard drive in which Murray passed for 38 yards and rushed for 34 more. Murray connected with Harrison on a 10-yard pass to complete the drive.

Detroit regained the lead on a 13-play drive, capped by Goff's 5-yard pass to St. Brown. Jake Bates missed the extra-point try.

The Lions then used a little razzle-dazzle to score again with 29 seconds remaining in the half. Goff completed a short pass to St. Brown, who then tossed a lateral to Gibbs. The speedy running back raced 21 yards for the touchdown.

A personal foul penalty helped the Cardinals get into field-goal range and the half ended on Matt Prater's 42-yard field goal.

Murray's pass was picked off in the end zone by Kerby Joseph early in the second half. Arizona also failed to pick up a first down after Goff's pass was intercepted by Dennis Gardeck.

The Cardinals scored the first points of the half with 3:48 remaining on Prater's 45-yard field goal. Murray's 28-yard pass to Michael Wilson was the big play on the drive.

The Lions converted a key third-and-12 on Goff's 18-yard pass to St. Brown. Goff's 8-yard scramble picked up another first down and ended the contest.
