Ravens 29, Falcons 7:
Joe Flacco threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns as Baltimore cruised past visiting Atlanta for its fifth win in six games.

Flacco went 16-of-25 and Justin Forsett ran for 95 yards for the Ravens (5-2), who overcame three turnovers. Torrey Smith hauled in three catches for 81 yards and a score while tight end Owen Daniels added a team-high six catches and a touchdown for Baltimore.

Matt Ryan went 29-of-44 for 228 yards and a TD but was sacked five times as the Falcons (2-5) dropped their fourth straight game. Roddy White had 100 receiving yards and a score but Atlanta totaled 68 yards on the ground and fell to 0-4 on the road.

The Ravens got the benefit of a pass interference call deep inside Atlanta territory on their first drive and Flacco made it count with a 5-yard TD pass to Daniels through traffic over the middle. Ryan was sacked and fumbled inside the red zone later in the first quarter and Matt Bryant missed a 57-yard field-goal attempt in the second while Baltimore used a 1-yard TD burst by Bernard Pierce and a 38-yard field goal to take a 17-0 lead into the half.

Atlanta finally got on the board with 7:12 left when Ryan’s 4-yard scoring pass to White capped a 90-yard drive and sliced the deficit to 20-7. The Falcons forced a punt on the ensuing possession but were backed up deep in their own territory and Terrell Suggs sacked Ryan in the end zone for a safety before Flacco’s 39-yard TD pass to Smith on fourth down put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: White’s TD catch was the 58th of his career, moving him past Terrance Mathis and into first place on the Falcons’ all-time list. … Atlanta C Peter Konz had to be helped off the field in the first half and did not return. … Suggs has eight sacks on the season and his safety marked the eighth in team history.
