Michael Bush rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown and the Oakland Raiders turned in a stellar defensive effort, finishing the season sweep of rival Kansas City and sending the Chiefs into the playoffs on a down note with a 31-10 victory Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Bush, starting in place of injured Darren McFadden, rushed 25 times for a season-high 137 yards. His 26-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter made it 17-10 and gave the Raiders the lead for good.

Kansas City fell to the No. 4 seed when Indianapolis won later Sunday and will host the fifth-seeded Baltimore Ravens in a wild card game next Sunday.

Oakland (8-8) held the Chiefs (10-6) to 201 total yards and forced two turnovers, one of which was a Matt Cassel interception that Stanford Routt returned 22 yards for a touchdown.

Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell was knocked out for one series but returned to finish 15 for 25 with 155 yards and a touchdown.

The Chiefs got 87 rushing yards and a touchdown from Jamaal Charles but struggled to get anything going in the passing game. Cassel was 11 for 33 for 115 yards with two interceptions.

Oakland finished 6-0 against the AFC West, becoming the first NFL team to post a perfect division record and not make the playoffs.
