Grayson McCall threw four touchdown passes in his return to action as No. 20 Coastal Carolina blasted host Georgia State 51-0 on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.

McCall, who missed the previous game with an upper-body injury, also ran for a touchdown.

McCall completed 18 of 24 passes for 254 yards as the Chanticleers (6-0, 4-0 Sun Belt) flexed their muscle in the rout.

Coastal Carolina, which was playing only its second game as a nationally ranked team on the FBS level, led 34-0 at halftime after a 27-point second quarter.

CJ Marable and Reese White also scored on rushing touchdowns for Coastal Carolina. Marable ran for a team-high 71 yards on 10 carries.

Georgia State (2-3, 1-3) was held to 106 yards of total offense and was forced to punt six times. Destin Coates gained 56 yards on 11 carries.

Georgia State quarterback Cornelious Brown IV completed 6 of 10 passes for 30 yards. He was intercepted once.

McCall opened the scoring with a 35-yard touchdown pass to Jaivon Heiligh midway through the first quarter.

The Chanticleers had a big second quarter, with Marable reeling in an 18-yard touchdown pass. After White's 13-yard scoring run, McCall and Heiligh hooked up again on a 10-yard touchdown pass.

McCall's 2-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds left in the half continued the scoring frenzy.

McCall's last scoring play came with a third-quarter pass of 12 yards to Kameron Brown.

The only scoring in the fourth quarter was Massimo Biscardi's 24-yard field goal.

Georgia State's best scoring chance came on the game's opening possession, but Noel Ruiz missed a 47-yard field goal attempt.
