Georgia Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall threw three touchdowns and ran for another to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 37-10 win over Jacksonville State at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta.

Marshall, who ran for five touchdowns against Tennessee in the opener, completed 5 of 7 passes for 112 yards to lead the Yellow Jackets (1-1). He hit receiver Ricky Jeune for touchdowns of 27 and 23 yards and connected with running back J.J. Green for a 10-yard score. Marshall rushed 13 times for 18 yards and scored on a 1-yard run.

Jacksonville State quarterback Bryant Horn completed 8 of 14 passes for 73 yards and one touchdown, but threw two interceptions. Tailback Roc Thomas rushed 18 times for 86 yards for Jacksonville State (1-1) of the Football Championship Subdivision.

Two third-quarter turnovers -- an interception by cornerback Step Durham and a fumble recovery by safety A.J. Gray -- tilted the game in Georgia Tech's favor and led to a 23-7 lead. Georgia Tech made it 30-7 when freshman Jerry Howard ran for a 65-yard touchdown on his second collegiate carry.

Georgia Tech went ahead 10-7 with 1:20 left in the first half on a 27-yard pass from Marshall to Jeune. The touchdown came two plays after defensive back Lawrence Austin intercepted a pass and returned it 21 yards to the Jacksonville State 32.

Georgia Tech opened the scoring with a 34-yard Shawn Davis field goal, but Jacksonville State took the lead on a 14-play drive that ate 8:11 off the clock and ended with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Horn to Krenwick Sanders.
