Arkansas went ahead when AJ Derby took a pass from Brandon Allen in the right flat and maneuvered the final 40-plus yards of the 54-yard scoring play to give the Razorbacks a 13-7 advantage with 4:43 left in the third quarter. The Crimson Tide went back ahead with 12:36 to play when Sims threw a 6-yard scoring pass to White and Collins later picked off Allen’s cross-field throw with 1:59 left to help preserve the lead.

Alabama got on the board with 8:40 left in the second quarter when Sims tossed a 22-yard scoring pass to Yeldon. The Razorbacks struck on Williams’ 3-yard run, but John Henson’s extra-point attempt was blocked by Jonathan Allen.
