Cyler Miles threw three second-half touchdowns as the host Huskies rallied to defeat the Panthers.

Kendyl Taylor, Kasen Williams and Jaydon Mickens caught touchdown passes and backup quarterback Jeff Lindquist ran for two scores as the Huskies (4-0) recovered from a 14-point halftime deficit. John Timu returned an interception 35 yards in the fourth quarter as Washington poured it on.

Nick Arbuckle was 21-of-33 for 194 yards and two touchdowns but also was intercepted three times. Georgia State (1-3) had just 36 of its 267 total yards in the second half.

Lindquist scored on a 9-yard keeper early in the third quarter as the Huskies began the comeback and Miles hit Taylor on a 10-yard tying score with 3:52 left in the third quarter. Williams caught the go-ahead TD with 2:25 left in the quarter, Mickens caught a 9-yarder to give Washington a 14-point lead early in the fourth quarter and Lindquist scored on a 14-yard run with 9:03 remaining.

Georgia State controlled the ball for more than 21 minutes in the first half and outgained the Huskies 231-73. Arbuckle tossed a 2-yard scoring pass to Keith Rucker early in the second quarter and later hit Robert Davis on a 9-yard aerial 47 seconds before halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Huskies CB Marcus Peters returned from a one-game suspension and had two interceptions. … Panthers RB Kyler Neal suffered a left knee injury on his first second-half carry to finish with 57 yards. … Washington’s Dante Pettis had 98 yards on three of his four third-quarter punt returns to help spur the comeback.
