Alabama 41, Michigan 14: A.J. McCarron threw a pair of touchdown passes, freshman T.J. Yeldon rushed for 111 yards and scored a touchdown and No. 2 Alabama turned in one of its trademark dominant defensive efforts to pummel No. 8 Michigan at Cowboys Stadium.

Alabama rolled to a 31-0 lead, scoring on four straight offensive possessions and adding a defensive score after being forced to punt on its opening series.

The Crimson Tide battered Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson and held him to 200 passing yards and 27 rushing yards. C.J. Mosley picked off a Robinson pass in the second quarter and took it 16 yards for a touchdown, injuring the star quarterback's shoulder as he tried to make a tackle.

Alabama held the Wolverines to 268 total yards, marking the 41st time in 68 games under coach Nick Saban that the Crimson Tide have allowed 300 yards or fewer.

Alabama rolled up 231 rushing yards, with Yeldon leading the way on 11 carries. McCarron completed 11-of-21 passes for 199 yards and did not throw an interception.
