Where: Neyland Stadium, Knoxville, Tennessee
Temperature: 62°

Tyler Bray picked up right where he left off – throwing a touchdown – and there were more to come.

Making his second start, the freshman threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead Tennessee to a 52-14 home win over Mississippi.

The win was the first SEC win for the Volunteers (4-6, 1-5), who will be bowl eligible if they win their final two games against Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Tennessee scored 50 points for the second consecutive week and Bray, who threw for five touchdowns last week, posted his second straight 300-yard game.

Tennessee's defense chipped in with two interception returns for touchdowns. A 46-yard return by Eric Gordon gave Tennessee a 21-0 lead late in the first quarter and Prentiss Waggner scored on a 10-yard return in the third quarter to make it 38-14.

Tauren Poole ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns, and Justin Hunter had 114 receiving yards and two scores.

On the first play from scrimmage, Bray dropped back and threw a ball that should have been intercepted but went through the hands of a defender into the lap of Hunter, who ran in for the 80-yard score.

The Vols intercepted four Rebel passes, three by Jeremiah Masoli, who was benched. Mississippi (4-6, 1-5) also has to win out to become bowl eligible. That will be extremely difficult, as the Rebels play LSU and Mississippi State.
