Kadin Remsberg ran for a 25-yard touchdown on the first play of overtime, and the Air Force Academy beat the Colorado Buffaloes 30-23 in Boulder, Colo., on Saturday.

Remsberg rushed for 146 yards and quarterback Donald Hammond III was 7-for-12 for 155 yards passing and two touchdowns. Hammond also ran for 22 yards and a score for the Falcons (2-0).

Buffaloes quarterback Steven Montez finished 26-for-43 for 220 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Laviska Shenault Jr. had eight catches for 124 yards and a score and ran for another TD for Colorado (2-1).

In overtime, the Buffaloes got one first down, but Montez's fourth-and-12 pass to Shenault near the goal line was incomplete.

Colorado took an early 10-0 lead when Montez connected with Shenault for 42 yards, and James Stefanou kicked a 36-yard field goal, but then the Falcons took over.

Hammond hit Geraud Sanders from 32 yards out, but the extra point was missed, leaving Air Force down 10-6 heading into the second quarter.

After a Colorado punt, the Falcons went on a 12-play, 78-yard drive that ate up 6 minutes, 5 seconds. Hammond capped it with a 2-yard touchdown run to make it 13-10. Colorado's next drive stalled after six plays, forcing another punt, and Air Force struck quickly.

The first play was a run for a loss of a yard and then Hammond found Benjamin Waters for an 81-yard TD pass to give the Falcons a 10-point halftime lead. Waters had two catches for 92 yards and the score.

Jake Koehnke kicked a 47-yard field goal with 10:23 left in regulation to make it 23-10, but Colorado rallied to send it to overtime.

Montez capped a 12-play drive with a 13-yard TD pass to Dimitri Stanley but the Falcons blocked the extra point to keep it a seven-point game.

Shenault's 2-yard touchdown run with 28 seconds left sent Colorado to overtime for the second straight game after the Buffaloes knocked off Nebraska last week.
