Manziel and Evans hooked up for touchdowns of 26, 64 and 42 yards in the first half as the Aggies took a 24-17 lead into the break, and the duo teamed up for a 33-yard score in the third quarter. Manziel hit Evans for two big gains on the Aggies' final possession to drive to the Auburn 18, but the Tigers came up with a pair of sacks and Texas A&M turned it over on downs.

Manziel left in the fourth quarter favoring his right arm and winced after attempting a warm-up toss on the sideline. He missed one series but returned to lead a 12-play, 75-yard drive and scramble in for a 1-yard touchdown to give the Aggies a 41-38 lead with 5:05 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Evans is the first player in Texas A&M history with two 200-yard receiving games. … Auburn has had a 100-yard rusher in six of its seven games, including four straight. … The Aggies have scored 40 or more points in 10 straight games - the longest active streak in the FBS - and have topped 400 total yards in 19 consecutive contests.
