Missouri 45, Indiana 28
When: 8:00 PM ET, Saturday, September 21, 2013
Where: Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, Indiana
Temperature: 68°
Head Official: Michael Cannon

Missouri 45, Indiana 28: James Franklin passed for 343 yards and two scores and added 61 yards and a touchdown on the ground as the visiting Tigers moved to 3-0 for the first time since 2010.

Dorial Green-Beckham caught eight passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, Marcus Lucas hauled in 10 balls for 101 yards and Russell Hansbrough rushed for 104 yards and a score for Missouri, which rolled up 623 total yards and dominated a matchup of teams who entered the week ranked in the top 20 in the nation in total offense.

The Tigers stifled the Hoosiers' potent offense and intercepted Nate Sudfeld three times as coach Gary Pinkel (93-61) moved into a tie with Dan Devine for the second-most wins in school history. Indiana (2-2) may have a quarterback controversy heading into its bye week, as backup Tre Roberson came off the bench in the second half to go 8-for-14 for 148 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing score late in the fourth quarter.

Missouri dominated for most of the first half but three turnovers - including a pair of interceptions deep in Indiana territory - allowed the Hoosiers to stay in it until their high-powered offense found a rhythm. Indiana put together a pair of quick scoring drives to tie it at 14 with 6:31 left in the half.

Missouri reclaimed control when Franklin capped a seven-play, 75-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run and defensive end Kony Ealy snagged a Sudfeld pass at the line of scrimmage and raced 49 yards for a touchdown and a 28-14 halftime lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Missouri has forced at least one turnover in 33 consecutive games dating to a loss at Nebraska on Oct. 30, 2010. … The Tigers have surpassed last season's total with eight interceptions and their two picks returned for touchdowns are their most since they had five in 2008. … Indiana had touchdown drives of 45 and 19 seconds, giving the Hoosiers eight touchdown drives of 60 seconds or less this season.
