No. 4 Oregon 48, No. 17 Oregon State 24:
De’Anthony Thomas rushed for three touchdowns, Kenjon Barner scored twice and the Ducks forced six turnovers while crushing the host Beavers in the 116th edition of the Civil War.

Barner rushed for 198 yards and Thomas added 122 as Oregon (11-1, 8-1 Pac-12) rolled up a season-high 430 rushing yards, but saw its Pac-12 North Division title hopes end when Stanford defeated UCLA 35-17 later Saturday.

Storm Woods rushed for two touchdowns for Oregon State (8-3, 6-3), which committed five of its six turnovers in the second half while losing to Oregon for the fifth straight time.

With the Ducks leading 20-10 at halftime, the Beavers pulled within three on the first drive of the second half when Woods scored from 2 yards out. Thomas responded by scoring two touchdowns in a span of 104 seconds – the first on a 5-yard scoring run and the latter on a 29-yard scamper after Oregon State’s Devon Kell misplayed an onside kick.

Oregon continued to pull away in the final quarter as Barner’s 1-yard run and Marcus Mariota’s 2-yard scoring pass to B.J. Kelley boosted the lead to 48-17 with 10:29 remaining. Barner’s fourth-quarter scoring run was his 21st of the season, matching LaMichael James’ single-season mark from 2010.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Barner left the contest with an apparent rib or stomach injury in the second quarter and returned late in the third. … The Beavers committed a league-low 14 miscues over their first 10 games before the sloppy showing against the Ducks. … Oregon has won 16 consecutive road games.
