No. 9 USC 50, Colorado 6:
Matt Barkley tied his school record with six touchdown passes - four to Robert Woods - and set the Pac-12 standard for most in a career as the host Trojans routed the overmatched Buffaloes.

Woods became USC's all-time reception leader with 220, breaking Dwayne Jarrett's record of 216 set in 2006. He finished with eight catches for 135 yards and the school record for touchdown receptions in a game, and Marqise Lee had six receptions for 103 yards as the Trojans (6-1, 4-1 Pac-12) made the most of their 22:50 time of possession.

Barkley, who also threw six touchdown passes in a 42-17 victory at Colorado in 2011, broke the Pac-12 record of 99 set by Matt Leinart in 1995. He has 102. Barkley connected with Lee for 55 yards, Woods for 39 and Xavier Grimble from 8 yards out in the first quarter as USC led 19-0 after only 5:57.

Woods' second and third touchdowns - 29 and 17 yards - came in the second quarter as the Trojans enjoyed a 33-6 lead. Barkley was 16-of-17 for 269 yards in the first half and finished 19-of-20 for 298 yards.

Jordan Webb was 18-of-35 for 210 yards and three interceptions for Colorado (1-6, 1-3), which hasn't defeated USC in seven meetings. Webb was also sacked four times.

GAME NOTEBOOK: USC freshman QB Max Wittek threw his first career touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, which made it a school-record seven TD passes for the Trojans. ...
