Washington 52, Portland State 13: Keith Price threw three touchdown passes and the host Huskies scored five different ways en route to tying a school record for points in a half with 45.

Bishop Sankey rushed for two touchdowns and a team-high 103 yards on 14 carries as Washington (2-1) scored on five of its six first-half possessions. The Huskies entered the game averaging only 255.5 yards - 117th out of 120 FBS schools - but rolled up 261 in the first half en route to a 45-0 lead.

Tre Watson returned a blocked field goal 79 yards for a touchdown, Marcus Peters brought back an interception 21 yards for a score and Travis Coons booted a 41-yard field goal with 3 seconds left before intermission.

Price was 14 of 19 passing for 181 yards in 2 1/2 quarters, while Kasen Williams had six catches for 69 yards and a touchdown and Austin Seferian-Jenkins added five receptions for 78 yards and a score.

Portland State (1-2), an FCS team which plays in the Big Sky Conference, lined up for two field goals in the first half. The first was blocked by Shaq Thompson and returned all the way by Watson. The second was never attempted as holder Thomas Duyndam couldn't handle a wide snap from Mitch Gaulke and kicker Nick Fernandez was tackled immediately after recovering the fumble. The Vikings also missed an extra point.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Portland State quarterback Kieran McDonagh was 18-of-32 for 178 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown pass to Nevin Lewis which made it 52-6. McDonagh also racked up 61 of the Vikings' 83 rushing yards and had a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter... Seferian-Jenkins is averaging 10.7 yards on his 20 receptions this season. ... The Huskies next play Sept. 27 at No. 21 Stanford before visiting No. 4 Oregon and hosting No. 3 USC.
