Senior tight end Drake Dunsmore caught a school-record four touchdown passes, including three in the second quarter, as visiting Northwestern whipped Indiana 59-38 to snap a five-game losing streak.

Northwestern (3-5, 1-4 Big Ten) led 38-21 at the break, scoring its most first-half points since dropping 41 on Wake Forest in 1991.

Indiana (1-8, 0-5 Big Ten) lost its sixth-straight and is building for the future under quarterback Tre Robinson. In his second start, the true freshman ran for 121 yards and a touchdown and threw for 169 yards and another score for the Hoosiers. Robinson also threw an interception.

Dunsmore's three touchdowns in the second quarter came from quarterback Dan Persa, including a nifty one-handed grab. Dunsmore added a third-quarter score from Kain Colter as the Wildcats rotated its two highly-skilled quarterbacks.

Jacob Schmidt rushed for two touchdowns for Northwestern, which has won seven of eight against Indiana. The Wildcats rolled up 616 yards of total offense.

The Hoosiers lost on homecoming for just the third time in nine years.
