Washington dominated the second half and spoiled Utah's first Pac-12 home game with a 31-14 victory Saturday.
Keith Price threw three second-half touchdown passes and the Huskies (4-1, 2-0 Pac-12) pulled away from a 10-7 halftime lead to remain unbeaten in seven games against Utah.
Washington’s Chris Polk had 29 carries for 189 yards and went over 100 yards rushing for the 15th time in his career.
Utah (2-2, 0-2 Pac-12) entered the game leading the Pac-12 in turnover margin, but the Utes committed five against the Huskies, including three in the first half.
Price, who entered the game as the nation’s co-leader in touchdown passes with 14, was 22 of 30 for 226 yards against the Pac-12’s top pass efficiency defense.
Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn left the game in the third quarter with a left shoulder injury. Backup Jon Hays replaced him and threw an interception on his first play.
Utah, which was outgained 186-17 on the ground, added a late score with seven seconds remaining on Hays' first career touchdown pass.
