Landry Jones connected with Ryan Broyles for three touchdown passes and top-ranked Oklahoma overcame visiting Missouri's hot start for a 38-28 victory on Saturday to deny the Tigers' bid to upset the Sooners for the second straight season.

Jones finished 35-of-48 for 448 yards with two interceptions as the Sooners (3-0, 1-0 Big 12) won their 38th straight at home, the longest active streak in the nation.

Oklahoma, which lost to Missouri 36-27 in 2010, is 73-2 at home under coach Bob Stoops.

Missouri has not won in Norman, Okla., since 1966, a streak of 18 games.

The Tigers (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first nine minutes before Oklahoma's quick-strike, hurry-up offense heated up.

The Sooners scored 28 straight points to take control as Jones threw two touchdown passes to Broyles and added a rushing score during the pivotal stretch.

Missouri snapped the streak on Henry Josey's 48-yard option run for a touchdown - his seventh run of 20 yards or more this season - to make it 31-21 before Jones found Broyles for the third time with 3:35 left.

Josey, who rushed for 263 yards in Missouri's 69-0 victory over Western Illinois last week, finished with 133 yards on 14 carries.
