Freshman Tyler Bray threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns as Tennessee became bowl eligible with a 24-14 victory over visiting Kentucky in an SEC matchup Saturday.

Denarius Moore reeled in seven receptions for 205 yards and a touchdown as the Volunteers (6-6, 3-5 SEC) continued their mastery of the Wildcats (6-6, 2-6), beating Kentucky for the 26th consecutive year.

Gerald Jones had seven catches for 94 yards and a score as Tennessee won its four straight game to secure a bowl berth.

Bray finished 20 of 38 with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Bray's two touchdown strikes enabled the Vols to take a 14-7 halftime lead despite Kentucky dominating the first 30 minutes.

The Wildcats were on the verge of taking a 14-0 first-quarter lead when Derrick Locke fumbled into the end zone and Tennessee recovered. Kentucky had 18 first downs to Tennessee's 8 in the first half and held a rushing edge of 104 yards to minus-6.

Mike Hartline pulled the Wildcats even at 14-14 with a 2-yard pass to Tyler Robinson on the opening drive of the second half, but Tennessee's defense stiffened from there, forcing three straight punts and an interception.

Hartline threw for 266 yards on 31-of-44 passing with one touchdown and the one pick. Locke rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries while Randall Cobb had 13 receptions for 116 yards.

Tauren Poole had 59 yards on 17 carries for Tennessee, including the go-ahead 2-yard score with 50 seconds left in the third quarter.
