Aaron Murray threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns and Washaun Ealey added 123 rushing yards and a score as Georgia dominated Vanderbilt in a 43-0 rout on Saturday.
Carlton Thomas added two rushing touchdowns and Kris Durham led the receiving corps with 112 yards and a touchdown for the Bulldogs, who have put back-to-back wins together after a four-game losing streak.
Georgia dominated right from the start, taking a 12-0 lead after the first quarter. Thomas ran for a 15-yard score in the period and the Bulldogs defense got into the act, forcing a fumble in the end zone for a safety.
Murray led the scoring in the second, finding Durham on the left with a 4-yard touchdown pass, and Georgia would add a field goal late in the frame to go into the half with a 22-0 edge.
The story did not change after the break, as the Bulldogs came out and put 21 points on the board in the third. Murray hooked up with star receiver A.J. Green for a 48-yard touchdown pass and Thomas and Ealey each added scoring runs as Georgia pulled away.
Vanderbilt was out-gained 547-140 in the contest and was forced to punt eight times.
