Erik Folk's 32-yard field goal on the last play of the game gave Washington a 32-31 victory over USC on Saturday night in a Pac-10 game.
Joe Houston's 27-yard field goal with 10:04 to play gave USC a 31-29 lead. However, Houston missed a 39-yarder with 2:39 left, setting up the Huskies' game-winning drive led by quarterback Jake Locker.
Facing a 4th-and-10 from his own 23, Locker completed an 18-yard pass to
D'Andre Goodwin. Chris Polk's 26-yard run moved the ball to the USC
33-yard line. Four running plays moved the ball to the 15 before Folk delivered with his clutch kick, his fourth field goal of the game.
Locker completed 25-of-41 passes for 312 yards and a touchdown and ran the ball 12 times for 111 yards.
Polk gained 92 yards on 13 carries and ran for a touchdown for Washington (2-2, 1-0 Pac-10).
USC (4-1, 1-1 Pac-10) quarterback Matt Barkley completed 15-of-21 passes for 196 yards and Allen Bradford gained 223 yards on 21 carries and scored on runs of 37 and 16 yards. Marc Tyler added touchdown runs of four and six yards for USC.
