Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score to lead North Carolina State to an impressive 45-28 conference road win over Georgia Tech Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

North Carolina State (4-0, 1-0) led 31-14 in the fourth quarter before the Yellow Jackets rallied with a Joshua Nesbitt touchdown pass and Jerrard Tarrant’s interception return for a score, cutting the deficit to three.

But Wilson shook off the interception and capped a long scoring drive with his third touchdown pass of the game, putting the Wolfpack up 38-28 with eight minutes to play. Mustafa Green's four-yard touchdown run sealed the win for coach Tom O'Brien's unbeaten squad.

North Carolina State recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown and used a Wilson-to–Steven Howard touchdown pass with 22 seconds left before halftime to a build a 17-7 lead at intermission.

Georgia Tech (2-2, 1-1) opened the second half with a touchdown drive, highlighted by Nesbitt's 61-yard jaunt and Roddy Jones’ short scoring run.

Nesbitt led the Yellow Jackets’ rushing attack with 95 yards, but did not complete his first pass until the fourth quarter. Nesbitt finished 5 of 18 for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Georgia Tech rushed for 246 yards.

The Wolfpack had 525 yards of total offense.

North Carolina State returns home to face Virginia Tech next week. The Yellow Jackets will look to rebound at Wake Forest.
