Chappell's 1-yard run pushed the margin to 24-7 with 9:55 left in the third quarter. Chappell then hit Ted Bolser with an 11-yard scoring pass with 20 seconds remaining in the third.

Rainey, who gained 105 yards on 21 carries, scored on another 11-yard run at the 13:05 mark of the fourth quarter, but Nick Turner's 24-yard run with 8:15 left added a score for Indiana.
