Dre Davis scored a career-high 28 points and Seton Hall defeated visiting DePaul 86-62 in the Big East Conference regular-season finale in Newark, N.J.

The Pirates (20-11, 13-7 Big East) earned the No. 4 seed in next week's conference tournament while ensuring that the Blue Demons (3-28, 0-20) finished winless in Big East play.

DePaul is the first team to go 0-20 in Big East history. When Georgetown went winless in the league in 2021-22, it finished 0-19 because one game was canceled.

Davis shot 10 of 15 from the floor and 4 of 6 from long range while grabbing a game-high seven rebounds. Dylan Addae-Wusu scored 19 points to surpass 1,000 for his career, and Kadary Richmond added 11 points for the Pirates.

Seton Hall shot 50 percent from the floor (30-for-60) and beyond the arc, where the Pirates made a season-high 12 triples on 24 attempts.

Chico Carter Jr. led DePaul with 16 points. Jeremiah Oden had 12 and Elijah Fisher and Churchill Abass tallied 10 apiece.

DePaul led 7-5 before Davis made a transition dunk and a 3-pointer for Seton Hall. Oden's triple tied it for DePaul, but the Pirates embarked on an 8-2 run to begin pulling away.

Carter made a 3-pointer to slice DePaul's deficit in half at 18-15, but Al-Amir Dawes made one of his own 12 seconds later to quell any threat of another tie.

Seton Hall took a 35-26 halftime lead on Jaden Bediako's layup with two seconds left. The Pirates got hot early in the second half with five quick points, capped by another 3 from Davis, to start an 11-3 run.

The Pirates held the Blue Demons to one made field goal for the first 7:28 of the half while stretching the advantage. Richmond and Davis combined for 18 of the Pirates' first 20 points of the half, making it 55-33 with 12:59 to play on another Davis triple.

Richmond appeared to take a hit and left the game with 10:35 left. He was later seen on the bench holding ice to his face.

Carter's 3-pointer cut DePaul's deficit to 18 with 6:10 to play before Seton Hall rattled off the next eight points.
