Boogie Ellis made a career-high eight 3-pointers en route to 28 points, and Southern California cruised to a 106-78 defeat of visiting Eastern Washington on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

USC (5-2) scored its season high as a team behind Ellis, who matched his season high set Nov. 19 vs. Brown.

Wednesday was the first time a USC team reached triple-digits since March 2018 in a postseason National Invitational Tournament win over UNC Asheville.

Every Trojan to log more than a minute of playing time produced at least two points. Nine of 10 players made at least one field-goal attempt as the Trojans went 36 of 63 from the floor on the night, including 12 of 24 from beyond the 3-point arc, paced by Ellis' 8-for-10.

Joining Ellis in double-figure scoring were Isaiah Collier, who finished with 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting, and Kobe Johnson with 12 points.

Johnson delivered a strong all-around performance with a game-high seven assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Vince Iwuchukwu came off the bench for a season-high 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds. Kijani Wright added another 12 points for a career high.

Eastern Washington (1-6) went 13-for-34 from long range as a team, paced by Jake Kyman's 7-of-10 performance. Kyman, formerly at UCLA, scored 25 points in his return to Los Angeles.

LeJuan Watts added 16 points and seven rebounds in the loss, Casey Jones scored 10 points, and Cedric Coward had six points with a game-high nine rebounds.

Despite hitting one 3-pointer more than USC, Eastern Washington could not overcome disparities of 42-26 for points in the paint, 15-9 on second-chance points, and the Trojans' 22-of-28 free-throw shooting to just 9-for-15 for the Eagles.

USC also committed just seven turnovers to Eastern Washington's 13, which the Trojans converted into a 14-1 scoring advantage.
