Georgia Tech (11-16) has won two straight and three of its last four games after breaking a nine-game losing streak.

Terry was 7-for-15 from the field with two 3-pointers and four rebounds. In the five games since his return from a hamstring injury, Terry has scored in double figures four times.

The Yellow Jackets also got 13 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks from Ja'von Franklin, who posted his third straight double-double and sixth of the season. Jalon Moore scored 15 points and Miles Kelly added 12.

Florida Tech (16-11), which competes in the NCAA Division II Sunshine State Conference, lost its fourth straight game and seven of its last nine overall.

Sesan Russell, a finalist for the Bevo Francis Award given the nation's best small-college player, had 17 points with five assists. Sean Houpt added 10 points in the loss.

There were 11 lead changes until Georgia Tech pulled away with a 13-0 run late in the first half.

Florida Tech didn't make a basket in the final 6:50 until Can Kaan Turgut scored on a desperation shot from the corner as time expired, which left Georgia Tech with a 37-28 halftime lead.

Georgia Tech scored 15 points off turnovers and outscored the Panthers 10-0 on fastbreak points.

Florida Tech got as close as six points in the second half, but Georgia Tech answered with a 13-3 to take a 58-42 lead and never saw its lead drop below 12 points.

It was the second meeting between the teams, with Georgia Tech winning both.

Georgia Tech returns to Atlantic Coast Conference competition on Tuesday at Pittsburgh. The Yellow Jackets play three of their final four regular-season games on the road.
