No. 9 Kansas 73, Texas Tech 51: Wayne Selden Jr. scored 16 points and made four 3-point baskets as the visiting Jayhawks defeated the Red Raiders for the 12th consecutive time.

Perry Ellis had 14 points and nine rebounds and Frank Mason III had 10 points and eight assists for Kansas (20-4, 9-2 Big 12). Cliff Alexander had 10 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots and Brannen Greene scored 10 points for the Jayhawks, who were 11-of-20 from 3-point range.

Norense Odiase had 13 points and eight rebounds for Texas Tech (12-13, 2-10), which lost for the 10th time in 12 games. Devaugntah Williams scored 11 points and Zach Smith added 10 for the Red Raiders, who shot 33.3 percent from the field.

Kansas streaked out to an early 15-4 lead before Texas Tech rallied to tie it at 20 on Robert Turner’s 3-pointer with 6:31 remaining in the half. Selden's 3-pointer gave the Jayhawks a 27-22 halftime lead and a 3-pointer by Greene gave Kansas a 40-27 advantage with 16 minutes remaining.

The Red Raiders were within 46-34 after a 3-pointer by Williams with 12:56 left before Kansas turned it into a rout with a 17-5 run that included seven points from Greene. Six straight points from Alexander made it 69-43 with four minutes remaining as the Jayhawks cruised to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mason has scored in double digits in 21 consecutive games. … The Red Raiders were 11-of-22 from the free-throw line. … Selden is 16-of-25 from 3-point range over the last four games and Greene is 17-of-24 over the last seven.
