No. 10 Kansas 67, No. 24 Oklahoma State 57: Frank Mason III had 16 points and nine rebounds as the host Jayhawks pushed their winning streak to five.

Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 14 points as Kansas (14-2, 3-0 Big 12) overcame poor shooting from the field (37.2 percent), the arc (3-of-12) and the foul line (32-of-46). Oklahoma State shot a crisp 22-of-25 from the foul line as the teams combined for 49 fouls and 71 free throws in a physical contest.

Le'Bryan Nash led the way with 21 points and seven boards for the Cowboys (12-4, 2-2), who returned to the top 25 this week but hardly looked the part, shooting 31.4 percent from the field and 3-of-16 from long range. One of the downfalls for Oklahoma State was the glass, where the visitors were dominated, 43-26.

The Jayhawks shot only 34.8 percent in the first half but carried a 32-28 lead into intermission thanks to 11 points from Mason and eight from Oubre. Wayne Selden Jr.'s 3-pointer early in the second half pushed the lead to 42-32, but Kansas made only one bucket over the next seven-plus minutes.

Still, Oklahoma State was barely able to dent the scoreboard during that stretch and Mason's 3-pointer with about nine minutes to go restored a double-digit cushion. The closest the Cowboys got down the stretch was 61-55 on Nash's layup with just under two minutes remaining, but Mason made a pair of foul shots, Devonte Graham did the same and Jamari Traylor dunked in transition to cap the Jayhawks' victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phil Forte III, the leading scorer in the Big 12 entering Tuesday's action at 17.7 points, scored 16 first-half points and finished with 18. ... Nash and Traylor each were given a technical foul during a minor fracas in front of the Kansas bench midway through the first half. ... Kansas starting Fs Perry Ellis and Traylor combined for 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting. Ellis also had five of his team's 16 turnovers.
