No. 18 Oklahoma 70, No. 10 Texas 49: Buddy Hield had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead five Sooners in double figures during an upset of the host Longhorns.

TaShawn Thomas and Isaiah Cousins each chipped in 12 points for Oklahoma (11-3, 2-0 Big 12) while Thomas had 11 rebounds. Jordan Woodard had 10 points, six assists and zero turnovers while Dinjiyl Walker added 10 points off the bench.

Javan Felix was the lone Texas player in double figures with 13 points off the bench. Isaiah Taylor added nine points, four rebounds and four assists for the Longhorns (12-3, 1-1).

Oklahoma got back-to-back 3-pointers from Cousins and Hield early and another triple from Ryan Spangler made it 13-3 with less than eight minutes into the game before Texas hit its second field goal. Texas, which finished the first half with nine turnovers and six field goals, went four minutes without a basket late in the half and trailed 27-8 before Jonathan Holmes' bucket with just over four minutes left.

Oklahoma added to its 33-14 halftime lead with an 11-6 run to start the second half, capped by Thomas' monster dunk just under five minutes in. The Sooners scored three straight buckets - the last two inside by Walker - for a 56-28 lead with less than 10 minutes left and rolled the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas, which entered with a plus-14.4 rebound margin, lost the battle on the boards (42-37) for the second time this season. ... Texas didn't attempt its first free throw until five minutes into the second half and finished 7-of-8 from the line while Oklahoma went 15-of-18. ... Oklahoma has not allowed an opponent to score 70 points this season and have held three to fewer than 50 points.
