Tulsa 76, Incarnate Word 47: Shaquille Harrison scored 24 points and the host Golden Hurricane hammered the sluggish Cardinals.

James Woodard added 12 points and Marquel Curtis chipped in with 11 for Tulsa (7-5) which won its second straight. The Golden Hurricane, who begin play in the American Athletic Conference on New Year's Eve at Central Florida, also got 10 rebounds from D'Andre Wright and limited Incarnate Word to 29.1 percent shooting from the field.

The Cardinals, who grabbed national headlines by knocking off Nebraska a couple of weeks ago, got 16 points from Denzel Livingston but saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. Kyle Hittle added 11 points and five rebounds for Incarnate Word (8-2) which is 4-2 on the road and entered the game fourth in the nation in scoring at 87 points per game but looked weary playing its fifth straight contest on the road.

The Golden Hurricane raced out to 15-2 lead and never looked back. Harrison knocked six of his seven shots in the first half, finished with 15 points, and Tulsa led 41-16 at the break.

The Cardinals' woes continued after intermission complete with air balls, a missed dunk by Livingston and a slew of turnovers. The Golden Hurricane eventually built a 63-26 lead midway through the second half and emptied its bench soon after.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Incarnate Word shot 7-for-27 from the field in the first half and made just 1-of-12 from 3-point range. ...The Cardinals' only previous loss was at UTEP. ..Tulsa represented Conference USA in the NCAA Tournament last season.
