Aaron Gordon had 11 points and seven rebounds and Kaleb Tarczewski collected nine points and five boards for top-seeded Arizona (29-3), which held No. 8 seed Utah to a season-low point total and advances to face Colorado in Friday’s semifinals. The Utes set Pac-12 tournament lows in points scored, field goals (12) and field-goal percentage (25.5).

Dallin Bachynski led Utah (21-11) with nine points while leading scorer Delon Wright was held to five points on 1-of-8 shooting. The Utes, who entered the game averaging 76.8 points, trailed 34-13 at halftime and set a first-half Pac-12 tournament record for fewest points by a team.

Utah was held without a field goal for a stretch of 13:01 starting late in the first half and Arizona took a commanding 51-17 lead on Rondae Hollis-Jefferson’s free throw with just over 12 minutes remaining. The Utes, who lost 67-63 in overtime to Arizona on Feb. 19, were outrebounded 39-24 and shot 2-of-10 from 3-point range in this one.

Hollis-Jefferson had seven points and eight rebounds for Arizona, which shot 52.9 percent and rested its starters for much of the second half. The Wildcats bounced back from Saturday’s 64-57 loss to Oregon by taking control early midway through the first half with a 15-0 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arizona won both meetings against Colorado. … Utah F Jordan Loveridge, who came in averaging 15.1 points, missed all six of his field-goal attempts and finished with two points. … Princeton Onwas and Dakarai Tucker had seven points apiece for Utah, which shot 12-of-47 from the field and committed 11 turnovers.
