No. 6 Kansas 83, No. 25 Oklahoma 75: Naadir Tharpe scored 19 points and Joel Embiid recorded a double-double as the Jayhawks survived a scare from the visiting Sooners and clinched at least a tie of the Big 12 regular-season title.

Embiid collected 12 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and three blocks while Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points for Kansas (22-6, 13-2 Big 12), which is enjoying its 10th straight season with at least a share of the Big 12 regular-season crown. Wayne Selden Jr. added 15 points and Perry Ellis scored 11 as all five starters scored in double figures.

Cameron Clark scored 18 points to lead Oklahoma (20-8, 9-6), which had its two-game winning streak come to an end. Buddy Hield added 16 points and Ryan Spangler recorded nine points and nine rebounds for the Sooners.

Wiggins converted a three-point play to cap an 11-0 run that put the Jayhawks in front 65-61 with just over seven minutes left. Spangler’s free throw cut it to 69-66 with four minutes to play, but Tharpe turned a steal into a layup and Wiggins buried a 3-pointer to help put it away.

Kansas ended the first half with a 10-0 run to take a 42-33 lead into the break but Oklahoma fought right back in the second, knotting it at 46 less than four minutes into the period. Tyler Neal’s 3-pointer with just under 11 minutes left gave the Sooners a 58-54 lead before the Jayhawks took control.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oklahoma has not won at Kansas since 1993. … The Jayhawks can clinch their 25th straight season with at least 23 wins at Oklahoma State on Saturday. … Kansas went 26-for-30 from the free-throw line, including four from Tharpe in the final 34 seconds to seal it.
