Moses Wright and Josh Okogie each scored 19 points to lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to an easy 79-53 win over Florida A&M on Sunday at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

The Yellow Jackets (5-4) went on a 19-0 run in the second half to snuff out any hope the Rattlers might have of keeping the game close.

Wright came into the game averaging only 3.5 points per game. He scored 12 in the first half on 5-for-5 shooting from the field and a pair of free throws. Tadric Jackson scored 11 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Isaiah Martin led the Rattlers (1-13) with 14 points and Justin Ravenel chipped in with 10 points.

The Yellow Jackets scored the first 10 points of the game holding A&M scoreless for the first 3:16 until Martin finally got the Rattlers on the board with a dunk.

Georgia Tech kept up the pressure and opened a 16-point lead at the 5:04 mark when a dunk by Wright made the score 28-12.

The Yellow Jackets, who snapped a three-game losing skid, entered play on Sunday allowing only 62.1 points per game, 17th best in the nation. Georgia Tech held A&M to 32 percent from the field while forcing 18 turnovers.

After taking a 32-22 lead into intermission, the Yellow Jackets came out in the second half and outscored the Rattlers 24-7 to open up a 59-29 lead. A&M went nearly four minutes without a basket.

Nasir Core's free throw ended the Rattlers' scoring drought, which lasted more than seven minutes.

Core followed with a 3-pointer at the 8:55 mark making the score 61-33. That was the first basket made by A&M since Elijah Mayes sank a 3-pointer at the 17:33 mark.
