Charlie Moore scored 22 points to lead Cal to a 67-55 victory over visiting Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday night at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif.

Ivan Rabb recorded a double-double, posting 17 points and 10 rebounds for Cal (4-1). Grant Mullins added 13 points.

Davon Hayes had 11 points and six rebounds for Southern Louisiana (4-3). Michael Greenwood added 10 points and six rebounds.

Cal dominated the first half and carried a 40-22 advantage into the break. The Golden Bears jumped out to an 11-1 lead on a layup by Rabb, went up 22-9 on a basket by Don Coleman and extended the lead to 20 on two free throws by Mullins.

The Bears shot 50 percent from the field and made 5 of 8 from 3-point range in the first half. The Lions shot just over 29 percent and were just 2 of 6 from beyond the arc.

Cal took a 22-point lead early in the second half, but Southern Louisiana battled back to get within 13 on a pair of free throws by Hayes. The Lions cut the deficit to nine on a layup by Greenwood, but the Bears responded with a 7-2 burst to regain a double-digit lead.

The Lions made one last charge to get within 11 on a 3-pointer by Michael Corchiani with just under three minutes remaining, but Moore answered at the other end with a 3-pointer of his own.

Cal didn't shoot nearly as well in the second half, finishing at 42.6-percent shooting from the field and 41.2-percent from 3-point range. The Lions shot 41.2 percent and made 5 of 12 from beyond the arc.

The Bears had a 36-31 rebounding advantage and forced 16 turnovers.
