RALEIGH, N.C. -- North Carolina State scored the last 14 points of overtime to pull out a 67-55 victory against visiting Tennessee State on Saturday at renovated Reynolds Coliseum.

Terry Henderson scored 21 points, including the go-ahead basket, and Dennis Smith Jr. poured in 19 for N.C. State (7-2).

Tennessee State's Wayne Martin, who had 16 points and nine rebounds, fouled out 18 seconds into overtime.

Smith's baseline jumper tied the game at 50-50 with 45 seconds remaining in regulation.

Tahjere McCall missed at the other end for Tennessee State, giving the Wolfpack the last chance in regulation after a timeout with 20 seconds left. That was thwarted when Martin blocked Smith's shot.

N.C. State scored the first three points of overtime for its largest advantage of the game to that point, but the Tigers regained the lead.

A Henderson 3-pointer put the Wolfpack in front for good. Henderson later made four consecutive free throws after a foul and technical foul on Tennessee State (7-2).

BeeJay Anya had 12 points and 14 rebounds for N.C. State.

McCall finished with 10 points and Ken'Darrius Hamilton added nine for the Tigers, who hold a 4-2 road record.

Tennessee State led 30-28 at halftime, then extended the margin to 38-30.

N.C. State's 11-0 run erased that, while the Tigers were in a scoring drought of more than eight minutes.

The Tigers held a 49-46 edge with 1:50 left, but Anya's offensive rebound led to a pair of free throws.

N.C. State guard Maverick Rowan was back after a seven-game absence with a concussion. He scored two points off the bench.

This was the first-ever meeting between the teams.

This game was played on N.C. State's campus as a "Heritage Game" in a return to the arena that used to be the team's regular home venue.
