George Mason continued to roll Wednesday night at the Bryce Jordan Center, where the Patriots beat Penn State 85-66 for their sixth straight win.

Marquise Moore led the Patriots (7-3) with 25 points and 13 rebounds, Otis Livingston chipped in 18 points and Jalen Jenkins added 15 for the Patriots to snap Penn State's four-game winning streak.

Payton Banks led the Nittany Lions (6-4) with 21 points and Lamar Stevens and Shep Garner notched 13 apiece in the loss.

A competitive first half gave way to a one-sided second. The teams traded the lead 12 times in the first 20 minutes and the Nittany Lions emerged with a 38-37 lead after Stevens drew a foul and sank two free throws in the waning moments.

Penn State scored just eight points in the paint but got it done from outside early. Banks scored 16 first-half points and made 4-of-6 3-pointers. Penn State players made 7-of-14 3s in the first half as the teams battled to a draw on the glass with both squads pulling down 17 rebounds.

But the Nittany Lions would continue to struggle in the paint as George Mason's guards gobbled up rebound after rebound in the second. George Mason finished with a 44-29 advantage in rebounds and Justin Kier snagged 11 with eight in the second half. The Patriots outscored Penn State 44-16 in the paint in the process.

Moore was 11-for-18 shooting and Livingston was 5-of-12. He made two 3-pointers including the go-ahead shot early in the second that gave the Patriots a 42-40 lead. They didn't look back and pushed their lead to as much as 19 with 1:18 to play.

The win gave George Mason its best start since the 2011-12 season.
