Admon Gilder scored 20 points to lead five Texas A&M players in double figures as the Aggies defeated LSU 85-73 in an SEC game Saturday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge La.

Robert Williams scored 18 points, JC Hampton came off the bench to score 15, reserve D.J. Hogg added 11 and Tyler Davis had 10 as only three Aggies who played failed to reach double figures.

The victory completed a sweep of the season series for the Aggies, who had five double-figure scorers when they defeated the Tigers 92-62 on Jan. 11 in College Station, Texas. Texas A&M (12-10, 4-6 SEC) won six of the last seven meetings. The Aggies host Missouri on Wednesday.

The Tigers (9-13, 1-9) lost their ninth consecutive game, seven of which have been by at least 12 points, and their 11th in the past 12. LSU, which visits No. 8 Kentucky on Tuesday, gave up more than 80 points for the seventh time during its losing streak.

Brandon Sampson led the Tigers with 19 points, Duop Reath had 16 points and 15 rebounds despite second-half foul trouble, Wayde Sims came off the bench to score 15 and Skylar Mayes had 14.

Gilder made a 3-pointer during a run as the Aggies quickly extended their nine-point halftime lead to 14 early in the second half.

Williams and Hogg scored five points apiece as Texas A&M built the lead to 68-50 midway through the half.

LSU, which fell behind by 15 points less than five minutes into its 88-63 loss to No. 19 South Carolina on Wednesday, jumped to an 11-4 lead.

Gilder made two of Texas A&M's three 3-pointers as it took its first lead at 15-14.

Hampton added a 3-pointer as the Aggies took a 24-17 lead during a seven-minute scoring drought by the Tigers.

Williams scored Texas A&M's final five points of the half of it took a 34-25 halftime lead.
