The Bruins moved ahead 47-40 on Powell’s basket with just over 12 minutes left, but Ashley scored six points during a 15-0 run over the next four minutes to give the Wildcats a 55-47 advantage.

The Bruins battled back and pulled within 63-61 on Parker’s layup with 1:02 left before Johnson and Looney exchanged 3-pointers and McConnell converted two foul shots to push the lead to 68-64 with 19 seconds to play. Hollis-Jefferson blocked Kevon Looney’s 3-point attempt on the other end and Arizona advanced to the conference title game for the fourth time in the last five years.
